They are called Aerocool Turbine 2000 [120mm]

I'm working on the front panel of the case. This is what I had yesterday:

I'm going to install my radiator right now.. but do I have to put the fans like they are blowing or sucking? My guess is sucking..

    Thnx ^_^

Sucking is the best with radiators, a fan duct would make it even better. But mind the direction of the airflow.

Nice job with the fan controller. It looks like it came from the factory that way. :thumb:

I dremeled a hole in the top of the case. I mounted the radiator grill on top:

Now I'm going to cut the tubing on the right length and put the hardware in. I will leaktest the loop.

    I got 5 questions though. (yeah sry I'm a nub :duh: )

    - Can I use normal water for the testloop?
    - Should I use distilled water when I fill it?
    - How should I fill the reservoir? Through one of the barbs in back?
    - Should I fill the reservoir till it's completly full or just fill it for like 75%?
    - And finally, how do you take out any air if you got some in the reservoir?

Thnx for any answers :p ideas and feedback is always welcome. More pics later on tonight. :dremel:

    - Can I use normal water for the testloop?
I wouldn't, assuming you mean tapwater. It can contaminate the parts with the bacteria and minerals in the water.

    - Should I use distilled water when I fill it?
    Yes

    - How should I fill the reservoir? Through one of the barbs in back?
Tip the case so the plexi is at the top. Undo the six screws, lift up the lid, and pour water in. Run the pump in short bursts so it fills the system and refill the res as needed while doing that. Then put the plexi back on.

    - Should I fill the reservoir till it's completly full or just fill it for like 75%?
It doesn't need to be totally full, 75% is probably good.

    - And finally, how do you take out any air if you got some in the reservoir?
It should stay in the res, and won't be a problem.

Ok so I cut my hose into small pieces and came up with a loop looking like this:

Would this do? Or should I place the pump on the second floor or somewhere else on the first floor?

Tomorrow I'm going to test loop it and put all the hardware in with the watercooling.. :)

First leak test is an pass

I was kinda scared to plug in the wire for the pump.. cause it's my fist time using watercooling but everything went ok. Some water dripped from the radiator but after tightening the barbs it was all good

I'll be mounting my graphics card, sound card (tight fit) and the other hardware tonight.. so till then

    aevi :dremel:

(oh btw, I also ordered some molding and locking strip to start on my sidepanel. My main goal is to have the pc running within these 2 weeks :naughty: )

    Update 21-08-05

I started on my sidepanel yesterday and it's almost done now.. I just need to finish the last cutout. I'll let the pictures talk for themselves:

    The design:

    Action shot.. lol :duh:

    Almost there:

    First cutout done:

Looks better then I thought it would be:

Cutting out the acrylic parts (@ 3am in the morning lolz):

    Almost done:

This is how it looks like with the rubber molding and locking strip. (it was a hard task lol):

I'm now going to work on the little circle.. you'll see what these are for later on:

The company where I ordered my hdd's said they had it thursday but I still don't have it. Throughout this project I've encoured this stuff many times. Saying they'll have it x day but not receiving within the next week/2 weeks.. kinda sucks.. but I gotta live with it I guess..

More updates coming later on :thumb:

You've got such a great cut, don't spoil it with rubber moulding! :duh: Give the edges a sand with some wet and dry until they're nice and smooth and cut a square of acrylic and stick it to the underside of the side panel with double sided tape...sorted :)

He does have a point there, as far as I can see it, those edges look mighty nice and shouldnt be spoiled with rubber edges

I'm so totally FUBAR atm.. ppl whining @ my work and I got up at 10 pm (last day) and didn't sleep from then.. so I'm basically up for 24 hours.. went for my driver lesson again.. and worked from 1 till 9. So I'm kinda burned out lolz.. anyway here are some pictures I took yesterday:

The way the acrylic + ring is mounted (looks rough but you won't see it anyway):

Full view on the sidepanel now:

    Close-up on the ring:

Cause I had nothing to do I sleeved some more cables; cables how they were:

    Cables how they are:

The 7-color LED for in my reservoir:

    After:D:

I'm kinda pissed cause my order has been DELAYED AGAIN.. ffs.. I don't get it.. it seems to be like this with every order I place.. only one company has satisfied my needs in the right way.. the others just plain suck (while they have good reviews/ratings)

So now all I can do is waiting for my hdd's to arrive, my dual white ccfl's and some other small stuff.

Hope to update this week again
