    Thanks everybody!

I was working on replacing the top panel's screen with honeycomb mesh last night,

this is after we painted it Flat Black

Alienware's OEM screen for the top panel
    [IMG]

Making my template, I used a tin-snip to cut the honeycomb mesh
    [IMG]

After cutting out the shape, I will remove the visible honeycomb cross hairs in the mounting holes

    Incredible work yet again Bill.

You sure are a gifted modder, I'm always amazed by the sheer ingenuity in all of your designs.

Love the paint, looks like something right out of a Batman movie! Inspirational stuff.

Thank you for posting your comments!

Heres the side panel, we're thinking of airbrushing the carbon fiber pattern under the bottom arc

The pattern looks really sweet. Yeah under the bottom arc would look great. What about the Alienware imprint, would it be possible to paint that carbon fiber also? Probably too hard and you would probably get a bad effect.

Thanks for the nice comments guys,

That photo of painted carbon fiber, it's my new shop table, photo link, ground metal paint table top

We'll be guiding you through each stage of painting the carbon fiber effect on features of the Alienware case.

Our little Alienware dudes will get painted too.
