I will use the diode just like the scheme shows to prevent damage.

This conferms what I experienced in a testrun.

Fill in the hardware and you see my single PSU just isn't enough. Not to mention if I overclock the system.

    AMD FX-55
    4 sticks RAM
    2 X Geforce 6800 GT
    2 X SATA HDD
    2 X DVD-RW
    Soundblaster
    2 X USB
    1 X FireWire
    Front bay LCD screen
    4 X 120 mm. fan
    2 X pumprelais

The way I did mine was to drill and tap holes in the removable drive-tray face piece and then use stand-offs to affix the custom faceplate to the tray.

Hey Franklin if your going to be be using two PSU's you might want to have a look at THIS. Its a big help and you could, maybe mod it on to the power switch :dremel: :)

Frankz, I think it's not about out-watting the psu. More about the strength of power on the +12V Rail.
He needs a second psu to get enough A at his general +12V rail to power up a lot of heavy duty stuff.
So picking two watercooled psu's with single rails, making a diode based relay between them, he has 'sytemwise' a single dualrailed lots of wattage PSU.
    Atleast. That's what I figured..

aye but its risky. as the second psu wont have any of the 3.3v and 5v rails hocked up so it will be providing power blind... (the second psu might overvolt leaveing your hardware smoking :(

Just back from Milan and today I had some time to mod again.

I will use two valves, that will be placed on the bottom of the case.

These valves I will use to drain the two loops if needed.

I bend the acrylic glas myself. I seem to get the hang of it after bending several pieces.

No major updates yet, but that's because I'm doing some things that have to be done but that are not interesting to show. A lot of polishing.
This is how the polished aluminium frontplate looks now.

b.t.w. I have ordered the second watercooled PSU. To fit in the second PSU I will have to adjust the original plans/lay-out.

Maybe I'm getting a littlebit crazy with the dual watercooled PSU   but I think I just have to do everything possible to stick to my original goals. All I can do for now is wait for the PSU to come in.
I started with the pumphousings today. Under them I have an acrylic plate. Modsquad you have the same under your pumphousing. To be able to light the plate up from beneath, without the leds being visible, I made an aluminium profile.

    and an overall picture
