Temps are still dropping, because there is still some air in the big radiator. I don't use the fans at full speed, but at 60 to 70 percent. CPU ( AMD FX-55 ) is around 38 to 40 degrees and the videocards 48 degrees Celcius. Hardisks both around 29 to 30 degrees Celcius. It's strange but the temps in full load don't get much higher, only about 5 to 6 degrees Celcius higher. Temps are not all that important for this mod, it has to run quiet.

That's the thing about Water. The delta between idle and load is not that much. Whereas with iar, you might have a difference of 15+ degrees, 5 is about right for water.

Those are the same numbers I get with Black Narcissus(s) small-bore loop, same AMD-chip as well.. Under "full load" is where H20-cooling flexes it's muscles!

I didn't use them in the casemod, but it was a good way to get the feeling of working with the acrylic though. Sometimes plans change during the work on the mod.

i noticed you got one of the hiper aluminium keyboards, how do you like it? i am thinking about getting one and polishing it. are the keys aluminum as well, or just the surround?

I happened to have looked at that keyboard today - the keys are also aluminium.
note that the layout is not quite standard.

I've read the whole thread before, but I think of it so often I've come back for another look, and it still impressed me as much as the first time.

    Absolutely superb.
