Easter Eggs ? Maybe! Thanks guys and I am waiting for the goodies more than you I believe! LoooooL! This month I am totally messed up. I really need one more sponsor for a small amount cause my income is 400 Euro and I have to pay 210 Euro to my ISP.... God HELP me!!!

 

Wow thats one expensive ISP!

 

Man they made a mistake at the very beginning and they send the bill to some other address and until they fix it the amount gone up so we made a deal every month to give an amount to cover that. Afterward they made more mistakes, their system never saw the payments for a strange reason and one day a bill arrived ( eventually!) to my place with the price of 283 Euro! People I really hate my country for that reason, no ISP's , imagine that I have 2mbps and I pay 50 euros each month! We dont have things related to case modding and I have to buy them online and pay all these shipping costs! This is ridiculous really! Mercy!!

 

You should demand some sort of discount seems as its not your fault their system is messed up.

 

Man I have no words to describe how unprofessional they are I changed to almost all the ISP's here(not that we have so many) and they are all the same! Man this place sucks! Only a law sue may help the situation but I am not in that mood right now I just want my peace and harmony but it seems that I cant find it here!

 

You sure you don't live in mauritius? It sounds kinda the same: expensive slow isps, no parts anywhere and even if you get them they are twice the price. Nothing available and the little there is is ovepriced!
Ah well, what can i say? the show must go on!

Guys I have an idea that I would like to hear your opinion. I am thinking of acrylic etching. I wanna do that to the left side panel on the window. If I go with wings will it be nice? Or some other design? Thanks!

Well it would be nice if you had a full size shot of your case at the moment. That way it would be easier for us to judge whether or not you should go for some acrylic etching or not.

Maybe it will be too crowded or maybe the etching won't fit the case. Its hard to tell if we can't see how things are at the moment

 

Pictures of the main components plus the side panels can be found in my worklog its just the left side, the panel has only flames in its 4 corners! Use your imagination and help me gather designs or ideas pls!

 

Well in that case, when I was thinking of my casemod years ago, I came across this awesome picture of an angel in the sea. I always tried to find the original artist/designer of the image but never found it (even untill this day).

This is the picture I was talking about:


Maybe something like that would look cool, I don't know. I know I would have loved to have a bigger version of that picture and that paintbrushed on one side of my case, but as I said before, I never found the original designer (I think it came from deviantart).

I am thinking of a tribal sun that I will draw so be original, I dont care if theres a sun on the other side besides as an artist the sun is like my symbol or something! lol

 

maybe still playing in the wing-theme. but one big wing, pictured in profile, covering the whole side? eventually ending in flames... ? i donno what your skills are with etching.

I kind of like your panel simple like that, with a big window showing all your goodies, you could just leave it like that and work the inside of the case.

But if you insist on having an etch on the side panel, i would probably recommend something simple, because your case is going to get crowded if you do something real complex.

Maybe some etching in the corners or just on one side of the panel.

:edit: How about an etched design on some transparent orange acrylic, then that stuck to the panel?

:double edit: You could also use the same sun as the other side and etch it on.

 

Great ideas buddy but because I left from my friends house I didnt see your ideas When I went home I did the etching... Update coming soon!

 

So here is another update. I decided to do a design on the left side panel by etching the acrylic.
So here is what I draw. I made a combination of my artistic influences(half face, wings like hair with flames from the sun)



Here I used some masking tape to attach the drawing on the other side to be able to etch it.



The bit I used for the main lines .



And the bit for the fillings and the shadows.



And here are some final shots(it will be different on the case)
