Here we are ! Bit-tech, I show you my new slim slot-in bracket, My slim slot-in bracket, I show you Bi-tech, say hello The place where the dvd must be to keep the same original hole on the case. For him, I use 15.5x15.5 corner that i folded then I cut a piece of 5mm thick drilling tapping assembly I make some scratches to help the glue
The finition : (never thrown in the trash the screw of your vga card stock cooler ) Some cutting set up in the cube cutting for the eject button, to let the slot-in entirely pressed against the top that's it !
Your re-engineering is great. I am impressed. It maybe too late but you could use the Intel DH61AG low profile motherboard and the Intel HD3000 video. I have used this in my cube at: http://www.tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?f=76&t=41231&start=110 The advantage of the DH61AG is the on board PSU. neil
Thansk neilhart, I appreciate your message and your cube too ! This is the exemple that we can imagine many different integration on this tiny cube. My choice was to stay with a "normal" hardware, as that I can upgrade when I want with less problems about the compatibility with the empty space in the cube. My package from Linitx was dispatched today !! Go fast delivery man !!
@daverobson08: I'm totaly agree, Chris knows of what he speaks little progress on the bottom of the frame : there is nothing anymore ! drawing cutting and after few hours of filing Don't worry, painting is planned This evening after work I'll go (again) try to find some honeycomb grills to put on this openings. If anyone knows where I can find it, please tell me !
Super clean cutting! After some paint they will look like they came that way from apple. Try car modifying places as it's often used for custom radiator grills.
