In enclosed photos you can see dry connections of the case. I a lot of sanding to do before staining / varnishing.

    Update - Detailed info

    MB.Size = micro atx
Case dimensions in cm (without legs) HxWxD = 34.5 x32x29, 7
Material used = 18mm pine board
Design is a classic stack (MB up, PSU and HDD below).
Side holes will have mounts for 140 mm fans.

Mb is installed onto aluminum tube inserts that have engraved thread.
These are glued in with epoxy.

GPU can only be installed in slot 2 and therefore it’s speed will drop to 8x but I really don’t see that as a problem.

Components that will go inside :

MB: Asus Maximus Gene III (s.1156)
CPU: i7 870 with Prolimatech Megahalems
    GPU: Radeon 7850 2gb
    PSU: Modular Chieftec Nitro BPS-550C

    ps…sorry i don't have detailed log

Yes i did. My profession is carpenter so it really wasn't that difficult (although sanding can take a while :grr:).

Here is a case i did a few years back:

Ahhh, thats cheating if your in the trade ;)

im attempting to do a scratch build with metal but can be a bit difficult at times, but havent really thought about wood,
you can get some really nice shapes and smooth edges which is really appealing,

    keep the pictures coming :D

So it is finally done (thanks for the support), well 98% would be more accurate, since I still have to align magnet holders that hold the PSU/HDD door in place and properly align the door itself. And install some simple led lightning inside. At least hdd led eyes work as planned

... so let me present you some info and shots...

    Installed :

MB: Asus Maximus Gene III (s.1156)
    CPU: i7 870 (@ 3.6 at the moment)
COOLER: Prolimatech Megahalems (2 x Noctua NF-F12 PWM) + Noctua NFP14 FLX (exhaust fom case) + Zalman ZM-STG2
    GPU: Radeon 7850 2gb
    PSU: Modular Chieftec Nitro BPS-550C

Noctua NFP14 FLX is screwed in aluminum tube inserts with engraved thread (same as MB holder).
