CM makes nice cases. Not Lian-LI but very useable.

Not much of an update at all tbh but never-the-less i got a few pictures of the chassis back from powder coaters in satin black.

I also spoke to Willie at HWLabs earlier in the week who is going to pull all the stops and try to get me a custom GTX360 X-Flow radiator for the top as i find that its much easier to route hoses and it gives an overall much cleaner look so massive thanks the Willie for that :cooldude:

......i just got to work out how to put this oversized jig-saw back together :duh:

I still think that Satin black is the best finish for case internals. Its vibrant without being too shiney...

Is the GTX going to be black or chrome Paul?

Yeah i think gloss can be a bit to much sometimes for inside.

Black for both rads this time Mankz as you can't really see the top one once its mounted, plus it cuts down on time as its a one off.

Yeah I agree, the satin black paint looks fantastic, very nice choice. Hopefully you get that radiator ;).

That's his last build "Cosmos SLR". You'll find a link to it in Coolmiester's sig, it's well worth a look.

Actually it is the Skulltrail build. The Cosmos SLR has "exhaust pipes" coming out of the side instead of the fins.

ROTF, should of gone to Specsavers :D

Still waiting on a few bits so i can start the exterior so thought i'd put the chassis back together and i got to say its looking real nice and can't wait to start filling it full of new hardware.

As you can see, to fit the HWLabs GTX240, i had to remove part of the hard drive caddy so it can only take three now but then that's never bothered me in the past.

Also nice to see CM go with the black quick release buttons on this as they fit in much better with the colour scheme.

Man, i just love starting with a blank canvas like this....

I knew I read it on there... see! I ain't going mad :)

    Quote from Coolermaster Forums...

"Alright a bit of information for you ATCS enthusiasts.... As most of you know CM was indeed one of the first to introduce All Aluminum chassis to the market and we decided, we were a little tired of everyone else doing it wrong, and figured we would come back and show everyone how its done. First, The cable managing on this case is phenomenal, I have had the privilege to build a system out of this case and I was very very impressed with all of the functions that was built into the case. Pricing, that will be released soon, lets just say "we got this". We are currently working on making the black edition of the case ALL black and yes that means rear panel, interior the whole shebang. As you also noticed the cut out on the M/B tray is indeed for you CPU guys who hate removing your MB, so problem solved. You will not have any problems finding a place to put any of your cables, you will have no problem with temps, not problem with Cooler heights, nothing....."

So an all black version coming soon straight from Coolermaster... that should save 70 quid on powdercoating. Although the all black version of the Cosmos isn't exactly a bargain :p time will tell....

Well, i know the colour scheme now - or at least for the time being anyway :worried:

I'm quite happy tbh as its very similar to Skulltrail and if all else fails at least i'll have a couple of nice matching bookends if nothing else..............but man this poor little board looks lost in this case.

Actually, not much of an update but at least i can relax now and enjoy Christmas :)

Having said that, i need blocks - any suggestions??
