    I will take that as a compliment......thanks

My personalize way of saying "Thank You" for those that comment on this log. For those that just watch, I can just give a general "Thank You" for watching.

Its an honor to have your first post, thank you.

Sadly this project is coming to an end. I'm still working on the case, I will start posting when the case is finish and the computer is running, maybe I will start the log again by using it. I'm shooting to finish it, by the end of this month.

P.S. Did anybody notice that I totally forgot the lighting part of the case, got to figure out that soon.

    Thanks to all .........!

Because you ask for it, one last dose of plexi.... :thumb:

    **********************************************************
Well is time to start closing the middle part of the case, lets begin.

This is how the middle bottom part looks, I glued two plexi supports to each side in order to attach the bottom plate.
This are some of the parts already, cut, painted, wired and sleeved
    [IMG]
the bottom plate assembled, two green LEDs 80mm fans, a aux power socket and a LED holder on the right side; left side some room for future expansion.
The bottom plate is in place, the center has a clear window with mesh
    [IMG]
another picture with the fans on
    [IMG]

Short and sweet, I skipped all the building process pictures. I'm using the same techniques as before from my previous posts; for cutting and painting plexi.

    P.S.
    Fans tally: 11 x 120mm / 11 x 80mm / 1 x blower = 23 for now. Thank god is heavy enough not to take off, flying. :hehe:

your plexi work is fantastic. great going on those fans though, you deprived several lesser computers of their needed cooling just so your monster can live :sigh: . seriously, i really like where this is going.

    Thanks for the pics

    nice lower front
will you add an lcd/tft screen in the front or
will it be a sweet front window with lights?
will your buddy hulk  find a place in your case?

The final number of fans is 25 in total.

    Thanks!
    Thanks!

No LCD for this case, the only place left is in the front and I don't want nothing to obstruct the visibility of the RES. Nothing else but, a pair of clear plexi doors will go on front of the RES.

Hulk was going to be part of the case, but when this project went off course, I scrap that idea too.

Maybe I will try again some other time.

    Thanks!

I was hoping to finish this project last weekend, but the devil is in the details. I'm trying to tie all the loose ends, but is a lot of work and it takes time. I will like to believe that, it will be finish by this Friday. If you guys like, I could post some of the progress done. But I want to keep the full shots for the final post, there will be no more postings of the build after that.

    Thanks for watching....

Here I had cut a hole in the MOBO tray, the location is under the CPU; for some cooling and space for the WC bracket.
    next I painted it green
    [IMG]
    dry fit it
    [IMG]
a shot at the MOBO tray fan
    [IMG]
Added the MOBO to the tray
    [IMG]
a rear shot of the case
    [IMG]
a left shot of the MOBO tray inside the case
    [IMG]
a right shot of the MOBO tray inside the case
    [IMG]

I does look a lot better painted in green....

    Thanks for watching....

Little updated, grill cover for the rear of the case fans.

left rear side of the case, before
    [IMG]
    after
    [IMG]
left side of the case picture, those fans cool the hard drives
    [IMG]
right rear side of the case, before
    [IMG]
    the grills
    [IMG]
    after adding the grills
    [IMG]
    those fan cool the rads
    [IMG]

I'm not sure if I will keep them or leave the case with nothing , they won't be seeing from the front and I won't be turning the case sideways to show them...
