rad came today along with some other bits, after 5hours of fighting with it i managed to get it fitted.

i need to find some black 120mm all i have at the moment is blue :(

The underside of the case with a nice evo 360 on the underside of the rad to prevent some nasty objects from puncturing it, i must say im highly impressed with the quality of these grills :)

the other shot, i still have a lot to do, but at least it all fits.

iv got to make a acrylic plate to go over the rad somewhen this week, i was going to use the evo 360 but ended up using it on the bottem of the case instead.

Will you dremeling the plexi to look evo-ish? Or will it be "just" a plexi cover for the fans?

that looks real sweet sc4mpi. Maybe you should mount the pump on the other side, to maintain the tuber-wirl you have from the harddrives? That would look very nice :thumb:

It seems you have connected the additional power feed to your mobo, does it really have any benefits?

it provides the pci-e slots with clean power, it also helps provide the ram with a steady voltage increasing stabilty as frodo said. there are two a molex and a floppy but i have not rigged that up yet. :) time to get some braiding done !

Nice job with the new case. What made you keep (or install) the BI vs. the Thermochill 120.3?

Oh...you can send me your pump mounting plate from the X2 project. :naughty:

Sorry for the lack of updates recently but the cam had to go in for repair :). i still have not found any good black fans that are not going to cost a arm and a leg & maby a kidney :p i did manage to fit the second pump in as it was definatly needed.

    Comparison:

To fill and bleed the system with one pump took over 45 mins, and i had to turn the pc to get all the air out,

To fill and bleed the pc with 2 pumps it took less that 30seconds

The original loop was Res, hd 1 ,hd 2, hd 3, pump, tripple, gfx 2, gfx 1, cpu

the loop now is Res, hd 1 ,hd 2, hd 3, pump, tripple, Pump, gfx 2, gfx 1, cpu

This also eliminates the problem with the pressure drop from the rad :D
