his temps are a mazing with the wine gum chewing delta fan )
Looks sweet and a little cramped with all that H²o flowing through. I hope you get rid of those mobo problems, maybe it's the caps again? (like in my DFI LanParty RevB NF2, it would'nt post at all, but I could be just plain wrong)
super watercooled... all you need to watercool now is the psu
I wanna see this ramblocks! looks amazings!
sorry for no update in a long time iv been quite busy recently,
"so whats happend in the time there been no updates ?" you ask
well ill tell you..
first off the 6800gt sli, decided it would fail.. and refuse to run sli but both cards boot and run fine as single cards :S, so i though it could be the mobo got that rma'd and still had the prob, so in the end i bought a xfx 7800gtx extreme edition. to run as a single card.. but then a week ago it got better i was able to get a second, and these work in sli :S
The only problem is that they run at 50 idle and 73 on load with aircooling.
so i started looking at 7800gtx blocks, and they were about 80 quid a block :O.
so then i put my thinking cap on and took my nv-40 blocks of the 6800gts, and procceded to do some mesureing and with a bit of drilling and modding they fit nicly
gfx 2 31 idel 33 load
gfx 1 32 idel 35 load
i was most impressed
as for the rest of the bits im having problems with the german supplier for the chipset blocks and parts. i still havnt found any papst fans that are cheaper than 15 quid a fan =/ i do have some black tubing and whitecathodes comeing
First of all:
Stop shitting money!
Incredible temps. And respect for fitting the NV-40 blocks on these cards.
he only does it to keep up with me
Damn those are nice temps sc4mpi
the only problem is that when the gtx go below 30 they turn off sometimes lol, which dosent realy help much.
they go into safe mode and downclock themselves....its just a driver problem. should of been sorted by now...god knows
no, its a bios problem iirc. Someone tryed making a bios with temperature monitoring disabled altogether.... it worked
interesting, i heard a couple of different things, bios is a right pain in the butt. Mine idol at 31.....which is nice....but stilll hmm would explainthe crappy performance sometimes
So were do you work?
U must earn alot, or are you using this beast to embezzel money?
But really this is lookin great, are you overclocking the proc or GFX's? if so what to, 3DMark05 scores?
Keep it up
Oh my god WTF does watercooling do on memories Dunno 'bout extreme overclockers but I'd say THAT is a total overkill Let's just wait for Aseteks new compressor-cooling or LN2-system for memories
It only really makes sense to watercool your memory whenyou're running BH5 at STUPID high voltage (like 3.3V). Then it _needs_ it...
iv got 2gb of ocz 3200gold , it has the new bh-5 aka winbond utt chips and it gets hot. (burnt my finger once)
Uhhh, like seriously, where do you get the money from? Drugs, illegal alcohol or any other form of criminal activities?
he's a pimp
I think the temp problem has been solved about a month ago at xtremesystems.org forums...
yup, there are modded bios to prevent it.
