Nice shine on the block Love youre case and the attention to details!!! And the speakers look sweet, bet they sound even sweeter!!
That they do. They shine as brightly as that Alphacool block. I know this a computer mod forum, not Stereo stuff, but I felt the need to show you I need more than a Creative Labs "Master-Blaster-XYZ". Music is my life!!! (well, that and h20 cooled computers).
Ooo thats some seriously nice speakers! Time to break out the carbon fibre effect so they match your case! Off topic i know but what do you have feeding those beasts? (i mean the speakers )
Simply outstanding, these Lian-Li v1000's seem to be quite a catch... looks like your doing such a great case some justice too! I am just interested to know: What equipment you have used so far How much you have spent Anyways keep it up, great read - maybe you should get it hosted somewhere so we dont have to cyfer between all the posts for pictures, like a work log with just your bits in it, the reading of other peoples opinions is great too, I just think this thing deserves its own webspace
All the gear I am using is listed in the project log. I am still waiting for some Aqua-Computer stuff and still need to purchase my AMD A64 FX-53 chip and a BFG Geforce 6800GT video card (or perhaps the Ultra version). At this point I have a little over $3000US invested in the project.
We'll just take your word for it. I guess if you spent $6k on speakers... that soundcard is pocket change Is it just me or is slightly sad/scary that the sound card is 20% of the budget so far?
The three most expensive components for this machine are: Processor ($850) don't have it yet Video Card ($600) don't have it yet Sound Card ($600) just got it I dont find it sad or scary. In fact I could not be happier.
I could not be happier if I had your job. Never knew selling crack to kindergardeners could be so profitable. Btw: I love the case and design... But what struck me as totally weird was I just grabbed a Black Lian-Li PC-V1200 and I had planned to do a black window WC mod to it... Very similar to what you're doing.. It's almost uncanny how similar our plans are.. Except yours are alot more expensive! Still, I love the design, red and black were meant to be together. Also: I have a SB Audigy 2 ZS
wow that sound card looks wicked sick, so your a big audio phile huh? you and my father would get along just fine... Nice job on the case, really like the front pannels.
I don't know if you want my job. Good money but 12 hour night shift and 60 hours a week. Not selling any crack to anyone....fella.... you know that is very insulting. Someone asked how much money I have invested in the project and I answered honestly...... case closed......
Just a poor attempt at comedy Hey man, it brings the bucks though! 60 hours aint that bad... I'd definately do it for the money
Yes, only stereo guys know that audiophile term, so Dad and I could most definitely hang out. I could not help myself, I installed the RME soundcard in my current machine, and have been playing with it all day (it rocks!!). Hense no Innovatek LCD installation.. Sorry, please forgive this audiophile. Anyone know of a good "free" screen-capture program??
give this one a try: http://www.mirekw.com/winfreeware/mwsnap.html I haven´t tried it now because I use Corel Capture (not free )
Each to their own my friend. Everyone has their own interests and hobbies which they put time and money into. Some people enjoy fast cars while others just want something to take them from A to B. I'm sure most people look at case modders and think its sad that they spend time and money on a computer but i bet you think its worth it? If somebody listens to and enjoys music then why question their descision to play it at the best quality they can?
There is a key on your keyboard... "print" you press this key and windows makes a screenshot of the desktop, then you start paintshop, or something else you use to work on your pictures and press STRG + V... et voila... you see the screenshot If you just want to make a picture of a window, press "Shift" and "print" together. Windows then just makes a screenshot of the current active window.
The "black-hole" that is SNTsystems.... Well, here I am, who wants to yell at me? I'm making myself available for comment since I dont like being slandered. If I had one wish it would be for you to be placed in my shoes. The "stories" that you refer to have never changed, its been the same "story" since the first few days of the overdue delivery. Since I know you dont trust a single thing I say or write I will at least call you on your "B.S. attack" and point you in the right direction. There is more than enough information at your disposal to get the facts if you ever wanted them, even my true identity which is the same person I already claim to be. For starters.... Contact my Distributor, IT-Trade and send an email to Franz or contact him in the same online chat program that I have listed on my site. If you really wanted to know for sure if I was B.S.ing you the whole time you could have started from the begining and contacted Aqua-Computer for the details of my operation and who supplies me with their product. The Austrian Post is trying to find out where that shipment is and Im sorry you dont trust me. You are still getting the items you paid for when they become available in the next few weeks. Just because you got your stuff in 13 days from a different source in Germany doesnt mean the same in transit time applies to me. I understand how these things work, please dont assume you know the ins and outs of importing and the pitfalls involved. I've provided enough facts for you and anybody else that doesnt believe in my truth to go by, so enjoy doing the footwork if you care to. For the Conspiracy Theorists... On the other hand, it could be just some huge diabolical plan that I felt like dreaming up to not only fool you but the hundreds of other people that have purchased items through my store and who continue to do so. I'm sorry that I've lost your business, I tried. Flame away but I've offered you the high road. Take care! -Dan SNTsystems
