Looks, very nice. Are you considering using a piece of the mirror plexi to "hide" the side of the drive cage? Or does your window not extend thaty far? Throw some lighting in there, with all that shiny stuff, is going to look awesome!
Very very impressive You're going to need one of those chromed-out polarflo pumps instead That top mirror/chrome plate will sit flat with the hard drive holes cut out I'm assuming (I seem to have a good average so far )

I have a red acrylic panel that I made some time ago, it will hide the area to are talking about. Just a matter of getting it back in place..

I get my acrylic from http://www.cuttingedgecasemods.com/ They have a very reactive green UV acrylic as well as the mirrored stuff and all the rest of the colors... Chris is a good guy, he will also custom cut anything you need...

You are right, I have been working this project for a long time. The reason, I keep making small changes. Case in point. I was looking at the Aqua-Computer 120mm Radiator grill, and thought it looked about the right size for the area above my DVD drive. Sure enough, if mounted side-ways it is the perfect size. Honestly, I am not sure if this looks better than the mirrored plate would look, but it would have the advantage of better air flow for the harddrives. The AQ grill is aluminium so it can be polished (it looks pretty good as-is). I would need to do some cutting on the grill to be able to plug in the harddrives and add some stainless bolts for the grill's bolt holes (also come up with a way to bolt the grill to the case)...I will wait for some feedback from you guys and then decide...O-Well no more project today..Off to Thanksgiving dinner......
I think the AC grill looks better. Have you considered putting a t-piece and bulkhead fitting into your loop to aid draining? Risky gave me the idea and its something i wish i had done and will be sorting out in my next loop revision. Good work on case though, it matches the quality of the AC kit perfectly which is why i think the grill looks better.
I like it! Adds texture and a nice pattern to back of the enclosure. The added cooling is just the icing! Go with the grill! Ya, got to love those surprise discovery's! Enjoy your Thanksgiving!
