I am glad you enjoyed it Firehed, I had FUn airbrushing. I told the owner of SG, "we need 5000 skulls on this machine to make it work".. We all started these projects because "it's fun".. Two weeks w/o an update for BN is ground breaking, but I hope to rebound and update next weekend.
modsquad Do you have a Eheim 1048 nerby, and if you possibly could try squize that pump inside? Im thinking of something like G-nomes pump reconstruktion. If you dont have one, could you take the length and hight, width (without the extre width downside.) Pritty por explenation, pleace tell if it dosent make sence. Thanks!
Indeed they do. Here's a picture of one (chrome plated) from my other project. By the way, it would be impossible to fit a 1048 in a 1046FMJ.
Glad to help Razor. The Aqua-Computer FMJ's make the Eheim pumps look much more attractive. That being said there 1046jacket has better lines than the larger 1048, which is boxy. the 1046. I think they but more thought into the 1046FMJ as it houses there AquaStream pump, which is a modified Eheim 1046. Either way you can't go wrong with a AC FullMetalJacket..
Good news for Aqua-Computer fans in the States. It looks like Sharka computer will be carring some AC gear in the near future. The US market needs another Aqua-Computer dealer, SNTsystems has a monopoly on the equipment and treats it's customers accordingly.. http://www.sharkacorp.com/ I have never done business with the above. Does anyone have experience with Sharka?
I have ordered from Sharka a few times. They ship fast and have met my expectations every time. I sent Wes an email last week when I heard that he would be carrying AC gear and he said that he is expecting a significant amount of gear for this first order. He mentioned a second order that is also on its way. Sharka also has “realtime” inventory, which is a real plus.
Well alternatives are always good, even if I was planning to open my own. And I just had to take post 1337 in the thread
That's good news Sho, glad to hear it.. Sharka also accepts Visa/MC unlike SNTsystems. Did he give you a ETA for his inventory? INVENTORY!!! a alien word to anyone who has been doing business with SNTsystems. Things are looking UP. PS: I will be back to work on the project this weekend (I hope to get the AC Aquaero VFD installed) and some odds/ends..
SNT Systems has a monopoly? They don't control all Aqua Computer/Alphacool sales... You can easily order from Germany, or maybe ask another retailer to special order something (you'd be surprised on who will help). I've given a lot of $$$$ to SNT with no problems, and I have ALL of my goods here and now. Of course I don't buy it if it isn't instock, but that's my choice. If sharka delivers, that's fine and dandy too, more is always better at any rate. I know they added an Aqua Computer banner to their website, but will they be selling Alphacool too? They haven't responded to my emails
