Hey guys/girls, I'm new to modding + building computer cases. (well I have done a few mods to a few cases I've had but nothing much really..) I've designed this case and well I wanted to post this to see what you guys think and if something needs to be changed/added or not. That radiator at the back is the Corsair H70 CPU cooler (just to let you know..) There you have it, so what you guys think? Here is a up-to-date design, I've got 2 designs for Black Ops RP but not sure on what one to go for... this is my second design, (I'll post the first design soon..) What you guys think? I'm still working on the body shape ATM and colour.. any advice???
I think it would be better if you used the general layout of the first design, but made it stand up like the second one as its a better use of space. This is mainly because in the second design you have cables coming out of two opposite sides of the case, which while looks ok in sketchup, would be pretty messy in rl, whereas the first design has it all coming out on one side, and out of the back too. I like the idea of the two compartments as well, as you would be able to hide all the cables really easily.
This is the new design I'm thinking of adding a touch screen fan control to the front of the case where the USB ports are. http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/NZXT-Sentry-LX-Fan-Controller-Black-Double-Decker-needs-2-x-525-Bays or something similar.
interesting design i like it, but there is one thing i would change i would make more space above the PCI slots as graphic card coolers these days are more often than not are taller than the pci bracket
