    Front Face:

I love my Eizo ColorEdge CG19. It's a great monitor!
Behind the door of the v2100:
my plan is to see a slot for the Plextor DVD drive:
three button-holes (emergency-adj) for a Aqua-Computer VFD and my West Coast Choppers coffin-vent/air cleaner:
I will be using the same ACRyan sheet-Alu. There will actually be two face-panels, an inner and outer. Lets start with the inner:
    measure, cut..
Drilled the holes-needed in both the case and front panel..
BUT then in the process of taking a file to the edges of the sheet-Alu panel
    **--%%#@**
    [IMG]
the ruff-egde of the sheet-Alu caught my "trigger-finger"...
And thus BR has it's blood-sacrifice..
I did bolt the inner face plate into the box:
BUT, I was done..And so is this small update.

Thanks M91. That was the EZ-part, well if-not for the blood&pain..
The DVD drive slot has to-be "all but perfect" in order to-work, and I have yet to do-that..
The outer-face-plate. Honestly, not sure about material..
Black 100% opaque-acrylic (aka black-mirror) OR more sheet-Alu (with custom paint)..
    Lookin, thinkin, drinkin... :thumb:

ahh, edges on freshly cut aluminium...they've demanded some blood sacrifices from me as well in the past. Welcome to the club :naughty:

Every case is a sacrifice... Not necessary a blood sacrifice, but sometimes ...
    LOL !
Btw, nice alu and nice cut-off, I'll give it a try but here in Italy is near impossible to find...

    I shoot my pictures with:
    Canon EOS 20D
    Canon EF 24-70mm 2.8f L-series glass
    Canon 580EX speedlite flash
I attempt to shoot "interesting-pictures" and show you my progress..Pictures, not "snap-shots"...

My Bulgin Components vandal switch showed-up today. Three week-wait..
These have been around for years, but (IMHO) are still the best choice for power switch (and fit in the stock LL-hole)..
    wired-sleeved and heatshrinked--ready to go.
this is the Red-LED "ring" version. Bulgin as options, which include "ring or DOT" LED's in Blue, Green and Red as well as there NEW White and Orange versions..
The reason I waited (3) weeks for mine is another Bulgin-option. Wiring:
Screw and solder-type. Pictured above is my preference..
Thats it, until moday (most-likely)..Need to watch the NFL playoff games and drink beer..

Thanks for the heads-up Capt. I have ordered countless-times from Hank and never noticed he had the screw-type Vandals.. Shame on me..
Should be back to work later today and update to follow ASAP

I have one of those Bulgin switches, and i must say im very impressed..

however, they are quite expensive, but im glad they come with screws on the back, so that i don't have to break out the soldering iron/.

The Rolls-Royce of power switches, there is nothing better.. In fact the only choice (IMHO).
I love the look and there "soild-feel"..
I am a fan of the "screws on the back"-version, but that is just me.. And as I stated a post or two ago, you can get them in BLue-Green-Red- and now White and Orange..
    Drinking my last-beer..
    then sleep- then : :dremel:

    Pumps & Tubing:

Changed focus today and worked on installing my pair of pumps.
For that to happen, the divider plate of the case needs mounting holes (8) and another set for two bulkhead compression fittings:

    ready:
The pumps are the Eheim 1046. My Pump of-choice:
More than enough flow for a small-bore loop and as silent as a mausoleum. IMHO, nothing better..
    Some paint (flat black):
With the paint drying--a golden opportunity to mockup a little bit of the loop. The tubing:
    Tygon R-3400 5/16"ID - 7/16"OD
    [IMG]
remember, the loop will have (4) reservoirs. This is the lower set. The top-mount reservoirs will feed into this set via- these lines.
The Indian Larry brass pushrod covers will serve as bulkhead-covers:
A few more pictures.. Only mockup all subject to change!

    Back to the pumps.
There is a good-amount of work to get these pumps setup and installed. The hardware:
The first order of business is to tap the mounting holes of the Aqua-Computer FullMetal Jacket for M4:
will be using the same button-head screws used throughout the case. I like the chrome on black contrast.
With that done, so am I. The pumps look good:
and are ready to enter the AC FMJ's:

With any-luck, I will get these finished later today..
