    CF2:

Sorry, RR9. I did not intend to cause confusion. "crossflow" justa catch-phrase.
What I am talking about.. Most (all) radiator mounts will draw in air (through the rad) and then it to in the case..
My CF deal will draw air from one side (panel) of the case and then exhaust that (hot) air via the other side panel. The flow goes across (and through) the case. The air-flows from side to side-panel.. make sense?
    Progress: some..
mapped out the black acrylic to accept the Innovatek Dual120-radiator:
    (8) holes to drill for the 5mm bolts. I used plexi-point bits. They help-avoid cracking..
pictured next to a standard-bit, they have a 60degree point and 0degree rake
    [IMG]
    then holesaw--jigsaw--dremmel--file:
    one hole-done, one to-go!
I have some Alphacool fans grills on the way, which will geta mod and then cover the hole(s)..
This week, I have to work (6) days out of the next (7).. Life sucks..
CF3, not for some-time (sorry to say)..

Thanks F541.. Free time has been at a premium this last week. Pounding beers tonight, but work will resume this coming weekend.. That is unless STALKER will not let me stop playing...(kidding) I have been waiting for-forever-for that games release!
@ RR9. You need to post again and expound on your "vantec stealh" question. I am not sure what your typing about RR9.

The Ek blocks seems like a very good choice and u have done a really nice work with the acrylic to , is it hard to bend acrylic?
or do u just put it on a table edge with some weight on the part u need to bend and heat it up? or does it requires something else?

I have never bent acrylic and i will not need to for the project im working on now but for the next one (if i do one) it would be nice with some tip from u, i know its a bi*ch to sand/fill down since i did a small (not bended) piece for one part of my project.

    Regards.

The acrylic is EZ to bend Tap. Just a heatgun and (like you said) a table edge. Just go slow, heat a little then bend a little then start again..

Somewhere in that log is reads that I had a problem with that PSU. I ended up using a PC Power and Cooling. BUT, if memory-serves the Antec is not a "oversized" unit. So, it's about 6 1/2" deep..

    CF3:

Back to work today. Finished cutting the acrylic radaitor mount. Then did some mockup with a set of 120mm AlphaCool fan grills.

I like those grills, they remind me of a spider's web. BUt, we can't just use them as-is.
pictured with some perforated-sheet brass. We will need (4) of these.
hole size, same as that on the LL v1000 case.. Should not be too (airflow) restrictive..
I need four of these, made one. Drill a center hole in the grill, then flat black paint. More mockup:
decided to go with a more agressive center-bolt..These:
    we end up with this:
In order to get air into that (those) grills, we need a plan for the side panel. I am thinking about using these:
made of molded plastic they measure 100mm (ID)..
Justa small update, with as much time spent thinking as working. BUt, the weekend is still young and with any-luck I will began CF4 later today.

The protrusion from all that flatness is sort of odd modsquad.

I Love those bolts. Where could I get some of them? They'd REALLY fit into a mod I have in mind..

Thanks CH. "protrusion from all that flatness" is artspeak.. I love it !! If my litttle project is 50% art, I have exceeded my objective...
Check this out: More mockup, just camera-flash.. the view through that 100mm "blow-hole"

one needs some vision to see the path-ahead.....

    @BoD: U can get those 4mm pike/spike nuts from--

IMO Your project is over 50% of art. But when you finish this project, it's not art anymore, It's a Masterpiece!

Nice stuff you got there, keep up the good work!
