Warning: Moral Outrage Rant Sorry guys, I gotta get on a soapbox here. I have some comments for the 2 people that voted "Just go away". That action shows a dramatic lack of understanding of a principle that I think is the most important thing to learn in life. That is "Love your Enemy". Anyone can go through this log and see that a lot of work is going into this project, and the work is FAR from a hack job. It meets the criteria for a valid project log in every way. Also, anyone looking through the log can see that the response is OVERWHELMINGLY positive. There's an old addage: "If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything." This is something that I have noticed in here. Almost every time, people in here say negative things very nicely, along with finding something positive to say along with it, and quailfying their negative comments with "It's only my opinion" etc. That is one of the first things I noticed and is what drew me to this forum. Given all the above, telling someone to just go away tells much more about the voter than it does the voted. @modsquad: So, here I'm going to put YOU on the spot. Go back and read all the comments from EVERYONE in your project log, especially the ones from some of the top modders in here. If you are thinking of abandoning this log because of any of those comments, then apply "Love your Enemy" to the people making negative comments. Those comments say more about them than it does you. As for me, I agree with the HUGE majority of the people in here that think Black Rain is AWESOME, in concept, execution and results! And the way you present it and comment it makes me think you are a pretty nice person. OK, the poll shows 22 do it all the way and 2 go away (and 1 just the mods). So, by the poll so far, you'd complete it all the way. I say: Don't finish the mod because the poll says so, finish the mod on principle. It's YOUR project log and you have every right to have it in here even if NOBODY likes it (Well, as long as you follow the rules and don't act like a jerk, which you: 1. have and: 2. haven't). If you let them affect you, then my assessment would be that you are overly sensitive, but that's only my opinion. And to heck with the insignificant little twits with barely 2 digit IQs. (OK, that's not really "Love your Enemy", but I like the way it sounds.) Finally, if you would rather not have this in your project log, just IM me and I'll edit it to just be a positive comment about how much I love the work you are doing.
