Welcome Home modsquad!
I know how tome consuming is to keep a worklog, I keep mine in italian and english, it's the first time for me, but it take really a lot of my time...
BTW, I hope you had a good relaxing days to recharge your battery, now I sit here pushing the reload button to see if you upload some pics
See you soon!
Looking forward to updates, lookin good mate.
yes yes yes he's back at it
I for one understand the work that goes in a project log, especially one where you try to explain everything well and show pics of every step. But that's also the beauty of it (imo)!
Hmm.. I didn't vote. Ofcourse you need to finish this project.
I saw you had a poll, and I decided to not to vote. You have to do what you think feels right.. Nobody else. Because, casmodding is a hobby. I have no one seen talking about that. Lot's of people are talking more about the results, about sponsoring. Seems like people are forgetting that casemodding is a hobby, just for fun. Anyways, I think that someone like you, with such skills and eye on detail... Is doing it for fun, as a hobby... So, why should you stop.
Besides that, every good artist can have a dip. Every good casemodder can have a casemod dip. And sometimes you just need to sit back and look at you own project and just.. think instead of work. Yeah.
Glad you will continue this project... Lots of people are watching it and like it, I think it's worth it. Not just because of the results. If a PL makes you happy, continue it, if not.. don't. Keep going .........
Hey MS, hope your vacation was as stress-reducing as it should be! I too look forward to the continuation of your worklog. I don't know who the 5 losers were who voted to end it, but they must mistakenly think they have nothing new to learn. I watch several logs on several sites as much for enjoyment as to pick up new ideas and techniques. I'm no master modder, just a fan who is learning at the Feet (foot-logs?) of those who know and can teach me. So, lets all get back to enjoying our hobby without pissing on the fires of creativity!
I agree with you modsquad, it takes time to do a PL, and when you do it in two different languages, it takes even more time (I have a norwegian and an english one). But with that feedback i get, its worth it And this project log is very nice done, you are doing a great job, with both, the log and the project
Looking forward to see more updates.
Can't believe I've missed this!
Really nice detail and workmanship, good work!
pretty please with silicon on top!
I'm glad to see you back here
now we just need some updates
I think it goes without saying, that you'll get updates when it's ready. You can't rush great work.
Still a-bit disjointed after my vacation. BUT, there should be some-sort of update 7/15/07
Thanks for your continued interest..
Where did you go on your holiday MS?
welcome back MS.
Hey modsquad! Welcome back! Had fun?
Your project has been in my Bookmarks since September 06, I've been following every step of it, and your weekly updates actually got me waiting, wanting some more!
Just wanted to congratulate you about all your hard work and don't worry about those haters around here, it will pay off when you see the completed process and I'm sure it'll leave everyone's jaws just hanging!
Have fun mate!
Welcome to the forum Shark00n, and very well put as well
Here's the small update I spoke of. I am sorry to say, this did not go smoothly. Well, more on that in a minute. First the look of the recessed Detroit Brothers cleaner which will become the VFD cover:
This looks MUCH-BETTER IMHO, so thanks so to the people who offered the idea..That is what is great about these forums, being able to get feedback (both positive and negative) greatly helps in the final-product..
Just getting the side panel back on the case became the first problem. The LL bottom clip needed a mod:
Then (even worse) I don't have the needed clearance for the air cleaner inside the case (the Innovatek radiator is in the way)..
I will need to cut the backside of the cleaner:
Not an EZ task as the unit is 5mm aluminum and my SlaughterHouse has only hand tools.. I did not see this one coming, and did not have the time or the ambition to start working on that. Hence, the sMall update!
the poor, long-suffering machine..
I did get in a few more Indian Larry items I wanted to show you:
a pair of ladies rings, which are the perfect size for:
8/10mm compression fitting covers..
That's IT.. It's nice to be back!
wb and w00t Indian Larry Is and always Will be the ****!!! Nice to see the updates
Love the compression fitting covers
