Thanks guys , hopefully when they get round to doing my castings I will be able to go over there early and film/take pics of the entire process.
I like the casted parts.
Yeah castings awesome
Hi everyone I've collected the castings and my regular updates will start again now.
Heres the parts straight from the casters:
Here they are after 2 hours of smoothing out using a Flap disc on a Grinder, and I've also chopped the ends off the front panel casting using a Chop saw:
And the next chapter begins Awesome .
Yep , thanks Waynio
Excellent. Can't wait to see the next update.
One word: AWESOME!
Sweet! Lotsa polishing to do though Great to see this in motion again
Thanks everyone , yeah its probably gonna be a couple of days of grinding, sanding, and polishing to get a perfect finish.

These are going to look great once their sanded/polished.
You are doing a fantastic job there mate, keep it that way! Now.... happy sanding!!! lolz
Around 2 to 2.5 KG, the nice thick edges should look great once there smoothed out.
Yeah hours and hours I reckon, and the grinder starts to feel heavier and heavier as the hours go by lol. Next update will be later today.
After another 4 1/2 hours of grinding away heres the top peice ready for sanding:
