UPDATE! i got the angle cut ground and brushed so its all ready to get welded on, in the meantime i cut the top and bottom panels. ok on w/ the pics the uprights all nice and shiny laying out the size for the top panel top panel cut out bottom panel cut out and fit in its frame underneath shot of the bottom panel, the white stuff is a protective layer that will be pulled of to show the true shinyness might weld tomorrow, i don't know for sure -glenn

I'm in Juneau. Yesterday I saw a post from a recent member of the board that listed his location as AK. Damn. There's more of us everyday. I understand about the shipping prices too. I ordered a processor and a wireless card and it costed 25 dollars to ship. Ugh. Keep on trucking. Project's looking awesome.
Update! got the top window cut out today, it looks pretty nice there are a couple of wobbly spots, but its not bad for a first time, especialy w/ the continuous curvage here's the ellipse drawn out on the top panel here it is cut out, rough before the sanding here's the cut after sanding for an hour here's how its gunna sit on the top frame, it'll be secured by 6 bolts/screws that i still need to find @thegoon- "keep on trucking" i know someone who lives in ketchikan and says that exact same thing, must be a southeast saying, hahaha comments, criticisms -glenn
This project just continues to look more and more awesome Keep up the great work! Your skills in making a case are looking quite impressive! Keep on pimping out those hunks of metal into something unique and totally awesome Keep those awesome metal working skills of yours sharp, and keep on modding!

hmmm i dont think so 15 more days till i can get my learners permit yay iv tryed many times to get my parents to let me start a project of my own but its not workin i guess il just have to drool for a while longer till i get a part-time job heh why not try our local computer store for a job btw i liked it when it was 4 degrees that was nice but cross-country skiing is mighty cold (specialy in a spandex suit durring a race) do u have msn??
glennd 05 I love your moddin tools. I bought this cheapo nibbler thing. But I still use an angle grinder. That is a truelly bad flame on the side, bs bad with splines... But yeah that is going to way a ton.
Finally an update well, i'm sure many of you thought i had gone forever, but i was just really busy w/ school and all, and then on vacation, but now i am back and continuing work on my case. today i cut the side panel and the window. the flames are just roughed in, but it already took about 2 hours. btw i did all of the cutting w/ a jigsaw, the true window cutting tool the cut-out sketched onto the side the cut half done close up cut finished close up, i didn't finish the part in red, cuz when i tried, it bent and i couldnt find another saw to do it with at the time i start work tomorrow so i dunno if i will get more done till the weekend comments, criticisms? -glenn
awesome job those flames are looking good man. i was wondering what had happened to the project, glad to see it wasnt scrapped or anything. keep up the good work ~~Sunny-D
Awesome!!!! Really diggin those flames bro! Check out blingGreen, and you'll see why I am excited about your project!! Excellent job cutting those babies out! I can appreciate the effort! Keep going! This thing is going to ROCK!!!!!
It wound have been nice if you did that all around it, don't you think? It looks kind of cool like that!
yeah, but itr takes a long time to do that, and it wouldn't end up smooth and flat w/o a lot of work. I think i'm just gunna end up sanding the outward facing sides of the frame w/ an orbital sander to get them smooth. but no time to talk, i got to go clean the garage so i can mod some more -glenn
