Case Mod - In Progress Project: Cadillac Stacker : Finished at long last 6/1/08

    comes up from underneath the case (its gonna be on four fairly high feet) then 2 x 80mm fans exhaust out the back. Should be ok as the main rad fans are only noiseblockers so the 2 x 80mm should be able to cope. Theres also space in the front compartment for some air circulate too. Im not really worried about temps, more looks and quietness than anything else. If they are really that bad i'll add another 120mm rad somewhere in the front compartment where theres a good amount of airflow. The reservoir will get direct air blowing onto it too so that can only help things.

    Glad you got the block safe and sound. Sent it nearly a week and a half ago but didnt realise postal strikes were bad near you. Can't wait to see it in the case :D :thumb:

    that's f... nice work. Very god idea vith covering it with leather. White color will stay inside the whole case ? it look awesome(i have never thought that white can look soooooo good :) )

    yea the case will stay white inside, should look pretty sweet when its all lit up too :)

    Thanks guys, anyway have made some progress in the last few days:

    Got the res polished, took me 5hrs but was worth it. thanks to Coolmeister for that idea ;)

    Got the bulgin switches in place now, although ive yet to tighten them. Also got some aluminium mesh added to the vent on the top and polished the paintwork.

    Iv'e had a nasty acident with the front panel.... My EK 8800 GTX block fell on it and chipped a large portion of paint off :( im trying to repair it, but i think it will need a re-spray......

    hehe its no prob mate, think ive managed ot repair it *crosses fingers*

    got some small problems to fix now, as ive started getting everything put together some things havent turned out as well as id hoped. Might be a while before i get some more updates now :(
