Hey all, It has been a few years sinds i build something.I needed a break but im back for a brand new project. People who know me know that i love to do a desk build so this time im gonna build a desk that looks like the front of a car en when its finished it looks like a car drove true the wall. Sponsors: I ordered the parts i needed to start the project. Yesterday i started building. like always i use no drawnings and work on the go so first i made a frame to mount the bumper, lights and grill. Pictures from the hardware im going to use are comming soon.Next saturday its on again so more to come. Cya soon
Update 2. Yesterday it was building time again. First i made a bracket to hold the grill in place. Then i made standoffs to put the headlights and the blinkers. After that i needed to drawn the the box for the casefans and 420 radiator. So hopefully i can cutt this soon so i can bend it and continue working this saturday. I also have a new EVGA classified SR-2 laying arround for many years now its brandnew and i totally forgot about it so i have tested the board and it works This was it for today so stay tuned.
Haha thanks Vault-Tec Thanks Cheapskate and wait for it i just started it and it will get some Paslis TLC
Update 3. After a long search i finally have all the memry together i need for my EVGA Classified SR-2. Time to do some work. First i cutt the plate out of 1.5mm steel. Then i had to bend it weld it and finish it. Time to fit body on the frame. Like a glove Then i started making the custom fenders. Next week i continue working on the fenders so stay tuned.
Yeah that is a Pug front end, right? Looks fantastic man. Gosh how I would love those machines I do hope the headlights become HDD activity lights too, or something cool like that
Update 4. First of all i want to thank Bitspower for supporting Project Car. I finally found a emblem for the the grill. Time to do some work. First i got started to make the mountplates for the headlights. Now thats done its time to get started on the fernders. Im gonna make every fender by hand from scrap. Test fit it. its getting shape. More to come.
Your use of stainless steel means this will be a Peugeot/Delorean hybrid. It just occurred to me you can't hack two drives to have an activity light for each turn signal anymore. It used to be easy with IDE.
Thanks a lot man. Haha yes Cheapskate it will be some kind of hybrid. Maby lett the grill emblem light up then.
