Wow that is really awesome looking! I'll take one please!
tnks, i sold the previous one But it's quite work intensive, cutting out the tape took me about 2,5 hours for only this logo and text. Very boring work too. But like almost all modding jobs it's worth the result but takes much time. (if you receive an normal hour loan, casemodding would be very expensive)
Ahh, worth a try. Any thoughts on using a dremel cutting wheel to engrave it?
hehehe, it just wasnt finished jet, so you only lost by one point
Wow! , Mousepad looks great! Is there anything you can't mod ?
Your right about the best mods being very labor intensive. Even if the work isn't hard to do , it takes a long time to get it right ( and boy, are your mods "right" )
hehe OK my next modding project will start very soon, so it should be finished within 1 year well, i'm happy with the 2nd place too, al those congrats from my family (even those who don't even know how a PC works) are very nice.
I hope this is just the begin
oh, and i never tried an dremel cutting disk. dont ask why, but i think sandblasting is more usefull and specified for this, and with a disk you can go the wrong way and make some nasty misstakes on it.
As long as you cut out the tape on the right way, the job is almost done.
You should use a better protected inverter for your mousepad thoug... one slip of the wrist and you WILL have a nasty surprise..... You will then become the zapped wizzard...
Love the way this mod has come together. Turned out really good and that second plas was well deserved!
wow thats insane always b careful of the rust tho
awesome job tho takes skills and a lot of time
Not to be cocky or anything, but it's "sandblasted a mousepad" not "an mousepad". Just a little piece of advice
(just wanted to say this because I'm really sleepy and it just bugged me)
OK, not a big update, but he's gone
for just 3 weeks
Hes now in the showroom of the local pc store, witch sponsored me.
here are 2 pics of it:
There will be an UV spot added to make a better effect at the UV reactive parts. Hope the people who visit the shop like it The people who work there do anyway.
Now he's gone i have more time for thinking and painting about my upcoming project instead of playing doom 3 all day's. So about 1 or 2 weeks i think you can watch my new project
where do you live, so i can take a look
great job mate
vet hij staat naast mijn kast (het zelfde model dan)
(translation) cool he's standing next to my case (my casemodel not my own case)
welke is dan van jouw ?
and which one of them is yours ?
I think he is trying to say that he ownes the case standing next to your PC
he knows that theres just more than 1 case standing next to it
Wow that looks like no other case out there. What a shame I cannot go see it in person, because I know it would look so much better.
That is amazing. I love it, what did you use for the mousepad if you don't mind letting me know I wanted to make one outa plexi and light it up but i have an optical mouse.
I live near to delft, the shop is goris.
So when you are close to it you should realy chek it Oh, and thanks
the zalman or the casetek? About the last one, i was thinking of using it for my following project, but he's heavy, so i think i will use another one. But i don't know if i will keep it or sell it, because i have enough with 1 pc, and a media pc next to the tv.
I used normal glass, plexi wont be strong enough fopr the intensive movements of yur mouse, scratches will be visible after a few ours
ferry the csae looks so awesome, that is one original peice of machinery you got going there, keep it up
Nice reciever Which one is it??? SR5200 or SR6200?
