I like these rust-themed mods, looking very cool.

I'm not sure about the green plexiglass though, looks a bit out of place ATM. I guess I'll wait and see how it turns out and then judge

 

First, I am loving the case and quality craftsmanship!

About this: possibly pour some paint down into the towers letting it drip out to have a real nice ooozing effect. Another idea is to splatter the paint possibly around the hole in the top as if when the hole was "made" some chemical was splattered about.

I love the green plexi, reminds you of an old alien ship or the Matrix Ebicanezer or whatever, still oozing anw working, but just a little old an rusted.

That is where I do all my sketchups... religion classes are so boring sometimes...

Nice case, the top blow hole is awsome... very distructive

I've started with giving the 2 front towers and top some rust. Think i had to give it 1 or 2 layers extra at some places but i ran out of my rust paint so had to go to the shop to get a new bottle.


The top, i added rust arond the window, and arond the triangle and on the sides where i cut it.



Hot-glued a UV led on the feet.


Mounting the feat beneath the case, i've done only the 2 in front, the 2 on the back i will do soon.


Because the wire's of the CCFL wern't long enough i make them longer with some wire of an red CCFL i've never used. Had to find some more to enlarge the other CCFL.



IRL the light is better, on the pic it looks like the center of it is white. But it isn't



Also with an blacklite beneath the top of the case, looks good




Added some yellow UV paint on the towers. Just to simulate like it's leaking chemical fluid. Forgot to make some pics with normal daylight, but they will follow soon. The effect of it looks good

 

HOLY SH$%. That is one nice case, the rust gives it that old steelmill industrial look, very cool. And tying the green plexi with it just topped it off, can't wait to see more good luck

that case is really sweet, really like the towers. Wish my garage had those tools.

Just one thing. Are you planning on lifting that case cos i think it might HURT a LOT.

Well, the weight of it isn't realy heavy, about 8,5KG whitout the front and back plate and hardware installed. so its similair to a full tower and my other case
(but my other case is 25KG with al the hardware and watercooling mounted )

can't wait to see what you have planned for the drive bays and stuff, i think it would look cool as well if you had a small part on the front ripped open as well so it looks like natural rust rot....

With my rusty orcish case you know im digging this radioactive waste looking mod!! Sweeet. I was considering the dripping toxic ooz for somwhere in my comp. Course it would look best in a water cooled. Very sweet! You get 5 stars in my vote so far!!
