I thought it was time to do a mini update on what my latest addition has to offer

I have assembled some components, but lacks, however, a processor so far ...
Now, I really noticed how small the motherboard really is: O!
I will test my graphicscard right on and see how it works as it should be

It was for this time, I come up with new and much better pictures soon!

 

Wow thats a monster of a graphics card compared to the poor little mini-ITX motherboard

Been watching this mod for awhile keep up the great work

Hello everyone!

I have to say that i have got some complaints that I have not done any updates in a while :/ ... The truth is that iat is so... but I did anyway take my thumb out and started to play around with all the things that I had at home today, its nice to finally have some sparetime afterall

I dont have that much to tell you guys but today I wanted to see how everything is going to sit, I even did the planing for my tuberouting and what should be done on the chassis before it prepares for the ALU-weld and paint preparation.

I have been thinking of re-sleeving the power supply ... What do you think guys?
What I have at home right now is: Copper Brown, Vanilla Sands, Black, Color-X, Red, B-magic and little else from MDPC-X, including mass of different colors from Djungelapa
I haven't decided that yet...and I will also crimp that sleeve aswell!
I have been thinking for a while if my powersupply will work 100% to runmy system in LOAD :/ ?

I think that maybe you should try other combinations of colors since your board has a lot of mixed colors is hard to find something that suits well for everthing.

Maybe use lighter tones or get rid of the silver because It looks really different from the other shades you are using.

Toobad there is no m-itx sabertoothboard out there, i can tell you now that the motherboard will not be as mouch visible because of the waterblocks and the other componens, the small accents of yelllow and orange will not be visible at all at the end... Everything will blen in so perfectly at the end.

 

True, it will most likely be very difficult to see the PCI lanes when everything is fully installed. If you use caution though, there are guides on how to spray paint these without any ill effects.

 

Exactly yeah i know that aswell but i dont want to risk something good for something that will not be visible at the end, i think that my coolant will totaly draw the atention of this build after all

That sleeve looks like snakes going out of the connectors =O

 

Thats because A, he's using paracord like a boss and B, he's not using heatshrink which is totally awesome
