Great finish - nice recovery on the bondo/paint problems you were having. How noisy is the box with all fans going? (aren't "deltas" the high-airflow, high-noise fans?)
kk i stealthed my drive, im pretty sure im about done now ok should i put some silicone sealer around the lcd, so it looks more flush? my rooms gonna end up smelling like vinegar
Sweet! I reckon the panels look better now that they have the clear coat on, the front bezel matches well too
well the panels with clear coat looks worse than without clear coat, clear coat makes it a bit darker and its kinda blurry, without it its pretty much clear and really bright, but ya id rather have it less clear and not rust hmmm is there any way i can make a single composite out into 2? like make a splitter? could i just take one of these and cut it, connect one end to the vid card, and then solder 2 other composite cables onto it? just like that? and so ya cuz i wanna connect my tv and my psone lcd but i only have one composite out, so if i connect them both at the same time, will it show 2 extra screens, or will it just be one screen basically on 2 tvs? (if i display a move for example, will it only show up on one screen or both of the screens connected to the composite?) cuz i mostly have my psone lcd off, but i watch movies on my tv since its alot bigger, and i dont wanna disconenct the lcd and plug in the tv and vice versa, so ya could i just split it like that?
Not sure what your asking but i know you can convert s-video over to RCA. Here is a link to how to do it. If you want to split it after that then i think all you would have to do is just split it like you said.
hi Bboy-jon i wouldnt try to make your own one, as you will get TONS of interference, and basically kill a coax cable, i know what your trying to do, but its best to buy a professionally made one it will display the one source of information, so it will be the same movie on both screens, as the card will only out in theory 1 signal, unless you put a pci card in and write some fancy program, then you'd be able to set it up so you in effect can watch one thing on the ps1 screen, and another thing on the TV i must admit, clearcoat does "blur" things a bit, removes some of the shine, but its better than it oxidizing/rusting!
^^ yep id much rather have a semi mirrory panel then a nasty rusty one but ya i never have my tv or lcd on, and when i watch movies i just go and turn on the tv (psonelcd is usually off) so it would only send it through the tv hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, cuz i hate having to unplug it all the time, how much are they?
Been following your project since you started posting Bboy, great work! You managed to achieve some vey nice results, keep up the good work!
A rca-> 2xrca adapter wouldn't cost too much, in australia you can pick them up at most electronics stores for ~$3 AU
well i found my dads cable, its like a composite cable and theres a hole on top so u can stack another? u know? im using that, and it works! o i also got a 10mhz increase on my overclock LOL in my old case i had 220 at 1.65v i think, now i have 221 at 1.7 (i think i still have 220 at 1.65 though) and i had 2.5-3-3-6 for my ram timings. What should i try for my ram timings? (like what should i lower) but my temps are lower at 220 in my old case i think i had about 45 idle, now its about 38-39 idle if i try to increase my oc to 222, at 1.7 it primes stable for about 5 min, if i up the voltage to 1.75 it primes for less then 1 min wtf? my temps at stock are alot better then before (stock as in set to regular 3000+ speeds, stock voltage, stock ram) OLD IDLE=40-42º Load=49º New IDLE=33 LOAD=38
Yummy piggyback cables are really nice friends, this case is to die for, love the mesh, makes me want to put it into Paperweight some how. Love the drragon on the side
well i really just found a pic on google, printed it off (got it to the right size on ms word lol) and then taped it to the side panel and cut thanx
