lol its packed without the extra rad and psu in yet. i got my work cut out here.
i would say sucks to be you but ur probably getting that without my comedy back up but please dont give up
i aint duder, just wanted to make sure everything worked before its all packed into the case.
Nice work man, Dam that things going to have no room inside it. Good luck
It's gonna be tight but it's looking good.
looking good. who needs a full tower... it's not too hard to cram alot of gear in a small space with good planning. how do those EK blocks perform? i was looking at getting some of the hd4850 version.
will be tight in there.looks great and some nice gear going inside .good luck.
thx for comments. with just the 2 cards in the loop cooled by the xspc rs240 they pretty much dont budge from 42 degrees.
Although its kinda running i wanna get the cpu underwater as this stock intel fan thing is a pos. I need a last few fittings along with some UV strips and some more cutting before i can totally finish but i think i have my loop pretty planned out.
First though a little modding is needed to the RS120 as its 1mm-2mm bigger than i thought. That dont sound alot but thats how tight a fit it is. I really need a dremel and for my next build i definitely will buy one but for now im going to have to use my 4" grinder.
This would be alot easier with a grinding disc but i dont have one so....
As a 120mm fan fits perfect where i want this to go i bolted one either side as a guide, so when i started cutting fan that was deep enough.
lol i know its not pretty iv given it a little rub with some wet and dry for about 2 mins so atleast i tried? Anyway its not to be seen so with a little paint its looks ok.
Dude, I must say that is some awesome big budget modding I just LOVE DFI Lanparty mobos...
Nice finish on the rad
Nice rad modding.
Well my rig has been running but half finished for a week or 2 now but i have been waiting for some bits to come before i pull it apart for the final time before i do some final case cuts and sorting the cables. Anyway will be updating over the next few days with the progress but had a few little delivery's today.
A load of braid for all the fans.
The final fan, it feels i have loads even though its fully watercooled but i had a little room left so thought why not. As its going to be seen iv gone for a Orange yate loon to match the theme.
Also some extra bolts for my rad and some more 90 degree fittings.
Oh and some X-Swing hdd vibration dampers.
Also Started the hatefull job of braiding. will do rest one rigs apart.
nice work man. Keep it up. Dam them HDD brackets are cool.
I love your project so far. Everything looks great.
I looked into those HDD dampeners a while ago. Have you tried them out? I am looking into getting a pair.
Those HDD dampeners look really cool, so does the fan. Can't wait for more pics.
no not tired em yet. i dont really need them but they looked too cool not to give ago. I only need the one pair so if you want the other let me know.
Well got all the final bits for the build so all stripped down and laid out ready.
This is how i have to run the barbs on the pump as there is zero room in this thing now.
Block fitted with the MX-2.
Wanted a easier option for removing block from time to time without removing the mobo from the tray.
Tool for the job..
All cut, not perfect but its hidden.
Had a massive braiding session doin all the fans, Sata cables, Power switches etc.
Then after fitting the mobo and cards back in which is a big job in itself i went about the second rad. Funny but my idea actually worked and it fitted right in just clearing the EK waterblocks and the read 80mm fan.
Now Just gotta finish up the cable routing, Lighting, Side panels with possible windows and to leak test.
Nice work so far. I'm a sucker for watercooled mini Lian Li's...
Ok hour of leak testing and i fired her up. still got a few bits to finish but there bits that can be done anytime the rest is done. Pics taken on my phone so really dont show how it actually looks in the flesh but will try get a decent camera sometime.
Im a huge fan of cube/sff cases (thats why I have one myself) and yours looks freaking awesome!! I love the look of that tubing with the springs.
