Project: City 17 HL2 Mod by Bilbo Fraggins Completed! (with some bugs to work out)

Hello people.. my first attempt was delayed and kind of put off but this time i am doing the work.. i started working with a ****y piece of junk! that will all change soon heres what i have done so far

This is the case i started with



Pretty crapped up!

I did some work with the front of the case.. I drilled the front holes bigger and put some bolts down at the botton for the paint job

Next its time to paint the drive covers...pretty rusty

Here is the back with a small amount of rust on it.. Im guna keep going with that

yea... i got some paint that actuallly rusted it instead of simulate it

 

how did u do the rust effect ? any names of product ?
what was the previous ?

 

So, we are all going with the rust theme now... Ahhh! Whats next!

Looks good, nice start on the case

 

The stuff i used is called Instant Rust.. you can also use Sofisticate Finish Antique rust thats all made by the same company the company is called modern options so look at the craft store micheals or hobby lobby watvr you have

 

So it's like an ista-oxidator (don't know how to spell that)?

BTW, Case does look nice, I wanna do some massive moddage to this when I get it, but I'm still not sure what theme I want to go for. Keep up the good work!

its all good and well, using this rust effect, seeing it all over now.. but please, be creative, and at least give it a different project title !

reason being, as soon as you call it blackmesa, your mod is instantly compared to the creative beast by piloux

im going mod my gamecube actually... later.. !
and then ill spray it with "STONE SPRAY"... honestly!
it will be a zelda GC mod

there i said it first... now you can steal it but i were still first

 

Bilbo the case is coming along nicely in my veiws, and the name is killer!! I love it (why doesn't any one do a case mod of the Combine??)
