all red things will build and add on the case !! the top I will make new top , because mine fcked with 2 80mm fans !! I want 2 120mm fans

SO like you said the wood will be crappy and not good ! so I will find the alum !! tell me which size will be nice and easy ! any one have any idea about the cost ?

the big red thing under the case between the wheels ! a box to put all the add on motherboards and wires and connections and splitters and all electronic things

why dont you make the case with two sectors - one the motherboard area and the other for hdd's and other stuff.
How do you plan to make the "wing"?

wood will work , if not , alu will work , if yes , which size and price "

 

probably 3mm thich allu will do,but if you're really going for it - make it with tinted plexi or UV blue (depends on your color scheme)

How are we supposed to know how much aluminum costs in Egypt? That is something you will have to figure out on your own. Try local metal shops what something. That would probably be cheapest.

My 1/8 inch 6061 Alloy Aluminum sheet cost 4 dollars a pound, 3 dollars if you count the student discount. For that I got a 2 by 4 foot sheet of 1/8 inch and a big block (the one i cut the dvd thing out of). 1/8 inch is a good size too.

2mm thick alu should be more than enough by the way!

 

I'm clam down !! i'm going in this project slowest I can !!! because the rush damaged a lot of things on that case , and now it will cost me to fix it !!

tomorrow I'm getting new paste and paint and some paint etc tools !!

and also I will get the alum 2mm like greensabbath and jokkos said !

Don't be so hard on yourself. <=) You did what you had to do to realize your previous plans. Now your plans have changed, but that's life... ever changeing.

Possible fix(?): Glue (with epoxy) a larger pice of square metal to the inside of the top of you case to cover up the two 80mm holes. By glueing it you avoid poprivet-/screwheads showing on the top side. Then fill up the 80mm + screw holes with some car body paste (bondo or whatever it's called) or similar. Sand it flat and paint.
If you want to replace the 80mm holes with one 120mm hole, I'd suggest you cut the 120mm hole before you apply the bondo stuff so it doesnt crack.

If you know someone that will weld on you case for a reasonable price, instead of glueing, just cut a scuare whole arround the 80mm holes, and let him/her weld a square piece of sheet metal into that whole. Grind, (cut 120mm hole,) sand and paint.

hello , sorry for no updates time , but what I can do !

As you know the first Phase on my project ways carp and hard start .

But As Xzibit say " this gonna change because I'm going to pimp his ride " , on my way I'm gonna pimp my case and Phase transfer to the next level !

so the Phase 2 that will be rocking work , and I'm sure of that , Well start on 1/6/2007 so its like 2 Month and half Month more , Nice time to plan on it

How ever I was working on the top plans for 10 days ago ! so now its complete and start be nice top . see the photos and say : BTW: they are very accurate measurements .



And under that top there is another top so I will cut rectangle ( part ) in the bottom of fans and buttons ( part of the under top )

now I will start plan on the back so I have 1 problem ! I want help from you guys soon possible you can

here this grill ( exsot 120mm fan ) so this grill look nice like it is ! or I have to just cut it and change it with 120mm fan girl ( the golden circle ) ?



thats what right now I need form you guys , Believe me this post I worked on it for 40 minutes to make it nice and clear !? so please help me and be kind
