thanks, but are you worried about them falling out with the fans' vibrations?
Nope , they are stuck in the plexi , wont come out.
Also in the plexi between the radgrill we need to put some leds, so lets drill very carefully.
Thats all we do with this today.Continue with the Musketeer.
Because we leave the top of it open, we have to sleeve the 2 cable's aswell , because they will be a little visible.
Then ofcourse whe have to be able to control the musketeer, what a job
And then the hardest job.
This is how it looks like from a distance.
And like this in the dark.
Buttons working too.
And dark again
Lets put reservoir in too then.
When the res light up , the mod is ready
We are thinking of changing for blue dye for the coolant , because whe think looks better with the rest of the front, what do you guys think about it?
Meanwhile i will mail o.c.-schop.nlfor blue dye.
Next project is already waiting.
that has turned out so well
i cant wait to see the next project, its an amazing case as it is, good luck
Today some work at the top..
First solder some leds.
Seem to work fine.
Lets turn of the lights.
From another angle.
Look at the shine on the plastic cover.
In total for top only 9 high bright leds are used , green colored , don't need uv light because is fluoresend plexi. Only thing it needs is light.
Tomorrow no update ,After 16 days non stop working and modding it's time for a day of rest.
Are those paints from the UK is it hard to paint a case as i need to do it by friday morning. Thanks
This mods coming along extremely well, keep up the great work guys
Very nice case,,
Where there many visitors at HWI days to look at your case?
I was planning to go to the HWI days but I live in the east of the Netherlands and I had no one who could take to the HWI days. So that wasn't that nice.
I also live in the east of Holland (Hengelo, OV), but I still went to the HWI days (by train)..
Great mod, great craftsmanship....Not too keen on the colour scheme though, but it's very original.
Quite fancy, i like it, ill be watching, wish i would have from the beginning, i have to read through it now.
Some of the paitnwork got messed up , so fix it . Because of the varnish all needs to go off.
And spraypuddy , tomorrow spraypaint bleu again.
And when im here , why not sleeve some cables.
Even the little boults are blue
And here you can see the space between plexi and metalf front again.
See ya tomorrow.
i love watching this mod, i know a lot of people arent liking the color scheme but i love it, i always wanted to do something like this, though i doubt i would stealth i like the cluttered look, well, only if its intentional and looks organized in some way.
great project man keep it up
what exactly happened to the paint? just got scratched or peeled? or something else maybe?
OK, my first post then.. I'll make it in this thread, just because your project is so goddamn nice!
@Yosemite, for me the color scheme was also a shock.
@ssR’ I mesh up the paint job with making some extra holes for the led’s, but I fix what I mesh up. Snakez will put soon a next update online.
I messed up the varnish drilling extra holes for leds, so to bad.
So spray it again.
Snakez building in the pump , when waiting for paint to dry , i've bin working on the wires.
Also hooked up the reservoir. The OC-press tube is really great.
You can twist it in every direction without folding it , real good stuff
Also there was something in the way , The backside of the Musketeer was in the way for the fittings of the radiator, So what else is there to do then cut away the backside .And look if it fits then. tomorrow i will paint the edge of the Musketeer casing blue , and then problem solved.
Will not say we are there yet , dit has to go on it's place to nice and thight.
Tomorrow and saturday wil be solder day . Lot's of wires to be hooked up and stowed away.
Total of 44 led's , So 88 wires to hide.
And the wire is teflonwire , hard to strip
You guys are amazing!! nuts! (crazy), but amazing.
Lol , thnx
