spent a while making a skin for LCDstudio that works well with the LCD, see the oscilloscope down at the bottom? thats powered by Liquid MP3, which just overwrites that part of the display, and there is a line behind it that comes on when that switches off.









if you want that skin for your LCD btw i will give you al the files and you can customise it yourself i will also provide the LCDstudio settings

what LCD is that?

 

'tis a crystalfontz CFAG12864B-TMI-V which rules. i had to wire it up in parallel tho which sucked but apart from that its cool

 

as soon as i put my money in the bank i am going to buy one!

thats a great price.. is there any chance you could write up how you did the parallel for me?

 

it is a very nice LCD - and a very clean looking case.

Woe is me, I don't find LCDs impressive

No offense, I know you're proud. It's a good job on the skin and making it work, I just have no use for it. Fits nice though . Those mesh pieces get very dirty very fast, my roommate has the new CM TAC and it has one large mesh piece right there. Good work so far

 

well its mainly just useful for showing stats, its so good just to look at the screen beside me to see if i have any new e-mails or what song is playing etc.. + when i have my monitor off at night, i can see the time

 

i want an lcd like that but all due in time

 

I was poking through that thread on those LCDs, good job on getting that thing wiring. It looks like your the only one so far

 

wow. the kit came today. take a look at the heatercore below.. it is huge. It has 2 120mm Panaflos on the top, and even when i tested it by plugging it into my computer with the side off , and the fans blowing into the PC, the cpu temp dropped by 10 degrees..... (i have a zalman flower)

the bay-res, is pretty good, tho i couldn't get those last two bubbles out



the pump, it seems to be doing a pretty good job its a hydor L30, which has about 1200L/h which aint bad

mmMMMmm nice clean case, i like the LCD, water cooling should look nice.

 

Get the bubbles out by blocking the outlet for a second while the water forces out the bleed hole
