Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but of course a REAL modder wouldn't limit themself to just one medium based upon a preconcieved opinion. The whole point of modding is to create something new and unique, which involves experimentation and imagination. Give it a try sometime.;)

Yes alright, fair enough. My opinion then, is that transparent stuff - especially the entire ATX case, is a huge steaming pile of pointlessness.

I *have* modded to try something new, that's the whole idea behind my own system.

When youve been in the business as long as us and modified almost every case there is on the market it leaves no choice but to experiment - This case was the first commercially available clear case in the UK and put it this way if we didn't do something to it then someone else would have!

Plus I've always wanted a clear case - And FYI it does not look like a macc even though the keyboard and mouse is from a MAC - The PC is actually quite good - would you want water in an all aluminuim case all sealed up? I think not amigo!

Trust me - Project Crystal 0wnz jo0 and I hope you have a merry christmas and a happy new year.....

I dont want to feed you some bull 5hit about everyone one has their own opinions because yopu knew I was going to say that right? but indeed the others are correct in saying everyone to their own - Infact Apart from the b0rg this case project has sent me about the most emails re: a project!

Modding is not only about making something different and to show one's skills - it's to show ones individuality and yes after modern we have post modern and all the fanatacis must agree this is a la tres post modernistique!

I'll have to second the opinions expressed here, just because you have modded one alluminum case doesn't mean that you have covered the entire spectrum. The ClearPC is an excellent case to work with and you can only appreciate it when you see it up close. I was the first to mod this case from the get-go and as Koolvin pointed out, its a case that generates attention as well as plenty of questions.

    I'm surprised and confused?

I thought the whole idea of this site and has been pointed out on more than one occasion is variety!. How dull would life be if all we saw were aluminium modded cases?

People that have not got a good word to say should go and do something useful and rewarding. Go on the Jerry Springer show and get he bitch man slapped in front of millions. At least that way you would be taken seriously, not.

    Nuff Said.

I sadly find myself having to agree with Spawney here about the point of modding modding in the first case ie because we don't want a baige uniform case. I personally would not be interested in owning a clear case, but that does not stop me from being more than a bit impressed with Koovins skills at modding and the execution of his project. It is so neat, clean and together.

I also don't rate Aluminium cases, but was equilly impressed with macro's.

Purple is where it is at.

So before anyone critisises this project, look at it before you comment about it.;)

Looks pretty nice! But this is missing:

You should get one of these clear "mounting devices" (is this the right word?).

Well, I got one myself and it looks way cooler than the old one!

    welcome to the forums!

yes I have considered that - but it is not really practical as I do not have a removable mobo tray and the mobo is mounted on the side chassis of the case which does not have a door or anything!!!
