There were a few requests for better pictures of the case in the dark, and that made sense since I made the previous ones in broad daylight, with some wood in front of the windows to make it darker :hehe: Unfortunately, my camera isn't very good with photographing bright lights in the complete dark, it doesn't even let me change settings like ISO and shutter time. I think the mirror reflex camera I'm about to borrow does let me do that ;) I will then be able to post some wallpaper size pictures probably, these just aren't good enough, they're still pretty noisy.

And finally a good picture of the most eye catching piece of cable, that little piece of ATX cable right there :hehe: Just sleeving isn't the solution, hiding cables is always better in my opinion. Mods that have sleeved wires running all over the place still look messy. For this case, I didn't have to sleeve any cable because so little is visible. I even emphasized the cables from the power supply, because Corsair did such a good job with those wires :D

Oh man, it looks great in the dark - so menacing and purposeful!

    Thanks a lot everybody :)
Thanks :) I totally agree it doesn't need paint, and you seem to be someone that appreciates brushed aluminium in casemods :hehe:
I'm not improving anything on this mod ;) The lighting is as subtle as I wanted it to be, I really don't like cases with hundreds of leds, illuminating the whole room and screaming for attention. Yes, it does make the case harder to photograph, but I can live with that. The camera makes it look like blue leds also, but it's white in reality. Oh and thanks for the kind words btw ;)

That loooks absolutely stunning! THis project is a legend, you hear it mentioned all over the web, even in podcasts it gets dropped in there, and it is finally completed! Which is sad in a way :(

    BTW what displays are those?

Is that true? Wow, that's really cool. By just googeling I found two russian websites and one italian, you've seen it on other websites to? If yes, links would be greatly appreciated :hehe:

The displays are 2x20 PLED displays, HD44780 compatible. The guy who sold me those doesn't sell them anymore unfortunately, because they are way cooler and way more readable than LCD's.

Kk. It's a pity though that these are no longer sold - would've loved to get a hold o' one of these... :(

They come pretty close to the display in the Scythe Kazemaster, but that's not a PLED display, I think it's VFD, so for anyone searching for something like this, VFD might be the right thing for you.
