ya if you check out my project log you will see that I hacked the entire back of my MM UFO case and flipped it into a WTX design, I like the look of it and the way it can aid in cooling as the cpu is lower and with heat rising should aid a little in temps but with me slapping in that phase cooler it helps in the length of that phase cooler and overall appearance.

Also what do you mean by "the first post of another guy so long ago" like because I havent been active in the forums for awhile???

    Hi guys
A lil update. Here u can see how the sides and the top will look like. There will be a little changes i think, so that the top window goes nearer to the front.
btw: the blue areas are the plexi ones :hehe:
The under windows in the left and the right side will be controlled with a switch so they can be tipped outside of the case. Hope u know what i mean :hehe:

    yup
I've also played with the idea of using it, but in Belgium we don't have the shops that sell the materials needed and I didn't feel like looking for them. They can be ordered online. However, it turned out well with my mod, my pump is barely audible and the noise is not disturbing at all.

    Some Updates

I cut two pieces of stainless (1,5mm) so that they foit beside the main-part
    [IMG]

    Testing . . . . . .
    Yea, it FITS :hehe:

The two pieces get WIG-welded to the main-part.

So here are the pieces. Lets see if they fit on the front and ... yes they do.

I throw away the old vib-reducers, because i found some in the case for the HDDs, which aren't needed for them.

Here I've tested, how the fans fit behind the front.

So, now I have a lil question. U know that I want to cut a hole in the main-stainless-part, so there will come some mesh behind it. What do u think the color of the mesh should be? Black, normal metal (like on the photo) or shiny and polished. No idea ...

So, guys, the next update will come on Saturday
    Stay tuned
    Mario
