    Nice project!
Haven't you tought about using a variable frequency spindle? (1hp must be enough with those steppers) They are very silent and you can reduce their RPM without loosing torque!

I'm fairly sure your 'Big Spindle Bearings' are the ball nuts for the screw.

What's the pitch on the ballscrew and what rating are the steppers?

pitch is 5mm and the steppers are 3nm. Ball nuts is correct i suppose ;) The kress spindle is atm the only thing i can afford :D

How do you export sketchup files to the CNC machines? And do know the tolerances of V1?

Thanks and great projects BTW :thumb:

Now this looks more like it :D

Would it be possible to get a list of the places where you got all the various bits?

Btw, that spindle is a bit so-so when it comes to aluminium, revs a bit too high and with too little torque. I'd recommend one of these instead:
    http://www.cnc-plus.de/Spindles---Accessories/Spindles/AW-FSE-1500-Spindles.html

(Isel spindles are also fine as they are almost identical to Suhner)

I use the ArtCam Pro for that purpose, It can accept a sketchup - 3dstudio - rhino - autocad 3d model and lers you program the toolpaths :thumb:

Its all from german Machine suppliers, dunno if it would help youse :D
I use mastercam x4 to get my G code and Mach 3 to control the motors.
Accuracy of the ball screws ? i wouldnt have a clue, im here to make stuff not to look at it :D lets just say, if u try to move it it doesnt, even if u use a larger amount of force, so the accuracy should be around 1/1000mm, better consult isel technical documentation for that question :D
But if u meant the overall accuracy that would be 5 / 200 mm (motor moves 1,8 degree per step) but it doesnt take into account any of the factors which take part in the overall accuracy and there are millions of them.
