Resleeved the pump as it was annoying me, you could see some of the yellow wire through the sleeve. I could have left it but it was niggling me.

I also sorted out the 24 pin extension as it was also looking a bit rough round the edges. Again it was annoying me, I could have left it, but that's not like me.

Finally, I got an Alphacool pump top from Specialtech, it really finishes the pump off nicely, the stock D5 isn't exactly a beaut. I've also been wondering, does anyone know if some 3M double sided mounting tape would be sound for mounting the pump?

Hopefully I should get my new CPU by friday too! So its looking exciting, fingers crossed new GPU next month as well as the last rad, 2 more fans and blocks!

I've used 3M double sided tape to mount pumps in the past. Not the best vibration dampener, but they sure stay put.

Little update here... Had a play around with some screws and some spacers to help airflow and noise. Here is how it looks.

The only thing I'm worried about is getting a card with a longish PCB, due to the pump, which will sit underneath the res. I may have to run the GPU in the second PCI 16x slot. Fingers crossed another big update tomorrow with the i7 2011.

Little video of the rad sandwich... just to test how loud the fans are, I'm pretty happy with the result, even at full whack, the Enermax Clusters don't get too loud. When at their lowest speed, when I'd turn them down when idle, they are nearly in-audible, but still throw out a decent amount of air.

Silly question time. With the fitting facing each other how are you planning on connecting it all up.

Ive turned it over now. Ill have to have a play with some 90s to get the tubing ran nicely.

I could have fitted a single length of 2 inch ish tubing in betweem the two barbs to connect them and worked some magic with some 90s for the input from the pump and outlet to GPU block mind.
