hey again.... i have started on a new small modding project called frozen cpu i have an old broken intel pentium 1 cpu that i wanted to do some things and stuff with. so i started thinking and got an super idea... why don't i make some kind of box whit aluminium paper and plexi window and then stick the cpu to the back of the box whit tape. then i took the plexi and made some scratches to it so it will get an icy effect whit a blue lazer led . the alu foil will make add an extra effect from the light . pics on their way
Not to nitpick, but what you are doing "whit" your cpu sounds a little odd to me. CPU's don't like to be mounted with tape. And why on the back of the box? How is it going to connect? Or will that cpu be just an attempt to look good, with an actual PC inside? Also, the frosted plexi sounds good, you can do that with some fine grade sandpaper as long as you make the sanding direction as random as possible. IMHO blue led's would not provide enough light, even with aluminum foil. Plus, I hope you are securing that foil to the case with adhesive spray, not tape. Oh, and they are LEDs, not lasers.
mm yeah....i had some trouble finding out what to write cause im from norway and i am not THAT good at english. the plan is to put the cou only into a box wich will be the "freezer" and whit the plexi and the leds it will become a frozen cpu. sorry couldn't upload the image its not 100% complete yet....have to change the plexi and cut a new plexiwindow.
