Nice work on the whole mod dude, very clean and nice choice on colours.
I am a fan of the black, its a great contrast to the case.
Apparently I have exceeded my free Photo Bucket account of 10GB...(monthly)
So, I wont be able to post final pics till next month.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Damn, Oh well, I can wait, way to many distractions coming up to exams anyway lol .
You bumped the thread to tell everyone there aren't any pics? -That's just mean!
Taking photos of this case has been a struggle.
Mainly because of how much mirrored acrylic there is, so between the photographers and me , somewhere around 50 photos taken, it doesn't sound like a lot, but when your striving for the perfect photo in the perfect environment,... it is.
So many photos had either the photographers or me in the photo or the lighting wasn't right, or something was blurred where it shouldnt be, so this is best out of those 50.
You will notice that they all aren't from the same photo shoot, but over a period of time.
And they still arent how I would have hoped them to be, but as my folks mainly take photos of landscapes and wildlife, this is the best they could achieve.
Good news is we are going to build a small studio to cater for my case mods, and my next project wont consist of as much mirrored acrylic or polished aluminium, which will make the next series of final photos a lot easier to take, but that's another story for another time.
And some random shots...
My personal favorite photos of the batch...
Thanks for viewing and look out for BORDERLANDS - A Scrapbot Project.
Certainly a unique piece! Congrats on finishing it - oh, and the pics ain't that bad.
This one may not be the most flattering one, but im really loving this pic. Its my fav
That's a great rig! Love the detail work on it +rep to you sir!
Wow, that's a mind-boggling amount of detail in there
This is probably the best looking case I've seen in this forum for a loooong time.
The most beautiful case I've had the pleasure of following in ages.
And I'm eagerly awaiting your next.
Dude, I'm really impressed by the patience and skill that you had to carve out all those designs YOURSELF. Wow! Major respect for that. The build looks great.
You do need a bending brake, though. They make things so easy compared to hammering away which damages the metal in the process. This one only cost me 50$ on ebay:
It took me about 5 minutes to bend that piece, including measuring.
Man OMG you ROCK dude!!!!!! That is what I call case modding!!! Move on man, you deserve a lot!! P E R F E C T!!!!!
A fantastic end result dude! Kudos on excellent execution.
The external HDD is a great accompaniment to it as well.
Ahhh, I have been waiting a while for these, very nice pics. The mod turned out very well and the pics do the project justice.
very cool, great work.
That was well worth the wait.
I'm looking forward to a scrap mod from you now. That should be fun too!
Wow, I love that red flashing light. Look awesome to me.
