Will the speed you are working on this it will be completed before mine - maybe i can take some ideas from you :thumb:

I like the extended window in the PS'd pic personally - it makes it look much slimmer.

Are you going to polish the alu or leave it brushed?

    Cyp.

Well, i actualy made this mod already. I got it to about 70%. Im posting 1 update a day, to get feedback on certan elements, if i posted all at once, id miss ur comments and suggestions ;) 70% of this mode has been made in about 40 days. Thre reason i stoped on 70% is to try out things ive done, also to c how will clear coat react on scratching and that kind of stuff. Also my mobo went dead, so i changed to a newer one, that means different layout...

im going to leave brushed alu cos i like that texture alot, and to get shine too im goig clear coat over it.

I would say because mesh has holes everywhere. This way he can drills holes just at the spots he wants them to be. So he can nicely fit the power button and dvd drives and stuff.

Yes thats true. Also mac doesnt have top piece perforated. And top and front piece are actualy same piece in my case.

    on with the update....

after a while this actualy started to look like old tv screen  wich i didnt like, so for a test i removed curved angles.

This dont seems to look right ither... bah with the window... I think it needs curved cornes just small ones. I decided to leave it 4 now and go on with

    Sign cutting:

Since im not experienced in dremeling, and this sign need to be realy precise cos its made of concentrical circles, i decided to cut it another way then dremel.

Wow! You are full of surprises. I would have thought scraping it like that would have been much harder. The outcome looks perfect.

That is undoubtedly the best work I've ever seen with improvised tools.

AHH! Scratch cutting! Very effective, but it takes forever. -but then, you drilled a MILLION holes for the front.
You have incredible patience. That's an important tool many modders forget about.
