woa wtf lol my bad, picture will be fixed promptly.

OK, so good news and bad news:

    Bad:
OK so my friend cant open his case due to the fact that he pad locked it and does not know where the key is.

    Good:
Sent an RMA request to patriot, I didnt know I had a lifetime waranty on my RAM, lucky me.

So, anyone got a good idea to figure out whether its my Proc or Mobo causing the issues?

    Hey theKorean,
Checking into your case woes, as I've just seen this project.
Sucks about your friend losing the key... :grr: that would have simplified a few things.

I think xtrafresh's post from a few months back was great advice, and I just want to add a few more things to it.
Have you tried building the system out of the case? Just the mobo, CPU, ram, and gfx on a cardboard box? (I know ... frustrating to even contemplate, since you have everything all set up already.) You can even not have the little front panel connections connected, and just short the 2 connectors for the power switch with a screwdriver. (insulated, to be safe)
Reseating everything can help, as can checking your connections (those little HD LEDs, Power/Reset, FP audio cables can get mixed up and cause problems booting too.)
Very important is the beep, aka POST Codes. (Some motherboards have a little LCD on the board that shows you a code where it stops, while others just beep at you in a series of long/short beeps.) Can you confirm what xtrafresh said? (one beep and no beep?)
Finally, I'm sure you mentioned it somewhere in this (but I'm feeling crappy, and lazy) log, but what is the motherboard model number? Have you checked the manual for beep codes?

It's really hard to tell from this situation what is causing it, and even if it's the CPU or Mobo. Without another known good piece of hardware to swap in, you're kinda in the dark, and have to rely on basic step by step troubleshooting and the built in diagnostics. Sorry if this sounds rude, but did you RTFM and check all the connections/device compatibility?

Really good to see your back working on this, we've all been through the 'Oh crap it doesn't work stage' before, you'll fix it in the end, best way as has been mentioned is just step by step swapping everything out,

oh and the mini p180 is just temporary right?

Thanks for all the help guys, @ Modminded:
I've done most all of what Xtrafresh said, to no avail, and I've searched high and low for the beep codes and they are nowhere to be found, the strange thing is, that the PSU also beeps, so its hard to tell exactly what was beeping, I got rid of the PSU (old psu) and the the mobo no longer beeps? This leads to to believe something went wrong with the wiring and my hardware paid for it. I have a replacement mobo coming on the 2nd, hopefully it get the sytem working, at the very least it will tell me whether or not my CPU is working.

    @Angleus
Unfortunately for this build it's permanent, Ill be going back to college in a matter of weeks so I wont have any way of working on the case, so for now its sitting naked in my closet. However, come summertime hopefully ill be able to start it again and once i have a job put a proper PC inside. However, it dosnt mean I wont be doing anything special to the p180 :D

Thanks again for all the help guys ill keep you posted.

Oh and good news, RMA went through and the Patriot HQ is located just 40 minutes form here, meaning i should get the RAM back in about a week if i send it today. 7$ shipping sure beats $100 replacement
