Project Green Dragon

Hi my name is Mark studley I am a 15 year old boy I live near the city of Chester as you can imagine I dont have that much money so i only have 5 pound a week to spend on my project

I plan to finsh my project after christmas It will be based around an old server case that will have an etched window (etching of a dragon) on one side and a 25cm fan on the other it will also be painted black and have a high spec watercooling system

MY GOAL:I aim to make a system using AMD components to rival anyones intel system

Its made by intel for some reason got it from an old school

omg i thought i had the only one left in exsistance cool case the good old RM Server Cube

 

really you have one to

 

right got myself some p38 filler and applyed it to the top panel to get rid of the holes however my kitten knocked it off and walked over it making it very dirty

dont worry iv just redone the top panel and put it out of the cats reach to dry

 

Nothing a bit of sanding and re-filling won't fix, keep going it might turn out interesting. Lock your cats away or your project for that matter.

yes i got one of those in my shed currently after i found it at a computer recycling place in kent, strange as it was the exact case i wanted for years after seeing it when i was at school in the server room (thats how old these servers are lol im 23 now) anyway, im slowly working on it however i have another project im doing at the moment which is on this forum just trying to get the time and money together for much needed supplies and with luck soon new tools that im after i will be posting my own server case on the forum shortly after my current project is finished.

Where did u get it from??? or should i say save it from, to my knowledge there is no where that sells em anymore.

hey evil-inc do you live in the uk whats the plans for your case also do you have xfire updates will be on soon just finshed sanding the panel and began cuting the back of the case off will be geting my dremal soon then the mod really begin

also got the stuff for my main pc sli mobo and a x23800 which i intend to overclock gpu=waiting for dx10
