Before start i need to lift CNC up because it not convenient when using CNC and re-wiring limit switch by using shields wire to protect noise from spindle and stepper motor, After finish it make my small room look very small than ever.

After waiting for some acrylic , endmill and other stuff. Now project begin.

1st work , Make cube corner join ::

 

After reconsider about fan grill , i decide to change it to make it better air flow by extend space of fan grill and change pattern of it.

Working on back side panel , just finish cutting and put insert nut M3 to PCI holding.

Finished cut center panel but not finish put insert nut m3 , will finish it soon.

 

Nice start so far. Keep it up and what's the name and model of your CNC machine?

 

This my 2nd diy "iD2CNC" , I just finished it for a couple month before and actually i make it for scratch build for my 3th project name "[GT] Carbide Series" , it plan to build by using acrylic but it still got some defect for me i will solve them before start this project and will try to build it by replace acrylic to aluminum.

Nice work on that machine!

 

Again reconsider about 5.25″ bay mounting and decide to change it.
