andway whilst looking at things this morning i decided that i wasnt perticually happy with the psu bay/holder so ive decided to rip it out and make one out of acrylic. as it will allow me to flip the psu and hide the cables much easier!

as you can see have started when fitted will update again

    Looking nice.
For the doors mayby you can make something similar to a car hood with the metal rod holding the hood up.

Lol! I guess Finnish does sound exotic to others. That "kone" means machine btw. Nice looking gear anyway. Looking forward to seeing more.

    Oh, and "taito" means skill.

lol , I was thinking about Taito (coin op producers) :)
Anyway, for the the look you can try maybe the dark blue/black look, or the retro hot rod style (candy pearl), why not?
I'm looking at the Roccat website, as I own a modders website, and they have some cool products, I'm in love with the keyboard :)
But... they don't have a reseller in Italy, but they produce the italian layout?
Sooo strange, anyway, I would like to have one!! :)

    cheers for comments guys!

*supa_m* origioanlly i was looking at adding gas struts to kepp the doors open but i really cant afford them at the moment as the are around £40 each then the brakckets work out at £30 as well :miffed: so i guess i will be going for a car bonnet rod look as space beleive it or not is now at a premium with this due to large amount of w/c equipment going into it.

*javerh* wow i always wondered what was the meaning behind the roccat naming quite interesting really and as you said guess it does sound exotic really

*mino* yeah am considering going down that black road with the blue true flame effect something along these lines http://www.howcast.com/videos/82844-Killer-Blue-Real-Fire-Airbrushing

will update again soon just got to cut all these damn bolts down:eyebrow:

There are quite a lot of alternatives for holding the doors up. You could use a briefcase style bracket. Or the type of bracket you get on horizontal cupboards to keep the door up.

Have you had a look at a scrapyard to see how much gas struts are. They may not be brand new but a bit of a clean they should do the job.

the problem with most gas struts is they are made for lifting up car bonnets/doors etc and the force that they give out would literally rip the case in two and as i only need them to lift around 1lb they have to be specially ordered hence the cost of them! as i said space is the issue now as have very little room like maybe 1cm!! therefor the idea for something similar to your everyday car bonnet think there called prop rods or somethin

    cheers anyway

Agree with the "gas piston" crowd, it would be the nuts in my book. As far as the Koolance disconnects, I've been using nearly those exact ones with no issues for 3 months now. Highly recommended. I would suggest, though, that you get an extra male connector. It makes bleeding the system much easier and basically eliminates the need for a dedicated bleed valve.

Nice work so far, look forward to following this one!
