Thanx for all comments it realy motivates me, I just want to go down in the garage and continue the case but I don't have any mdf board left :waah: .
I will go to the town on wednesday and buy more mdf for the back, the top, and the right side, so next update will be on wednessday :thumb: .

    @ exitus : that's a great idea, I will do that!

@ Dira and elbarto241 : I don't think I will use dust filter because I have ceramic tile in my room and don't have so much dust in my current rig
(has been running for over a year whitout filters).

    cya !!

this looks a lot like a case i designed a while ago, but my case uses alu plates to construct it. heres the link to the old thread. i kindof dropped the idea for now, but i would love to pick it up when i have the time/money.

    linky

great looking wood-working, this will be a very cool case to see.

Nice design you got there ,it would be great to see that project finished hope you can finish it :thumb:

    To the modding :dremel:

    UPDATE 3

I didn't have the time to make all the things I planned to do :waah: .

I only had the time to glue two mdf board for the top and to start the right panel, I had a very busy wednesday.

This is what I started with
    [IMG]

drilled some holes and voila !! with my old ''test'' mobo on (new one comming on saturday :D )

That was sadly a very very small update :waah: !!

Just an update on the design (thanx exitus) : made in switzerland :hehe:

    And just one question:
Do you think it would look better if the fan will be ''in'' the front or ''on'' ?

    1* (in)

    2* (on)

Then I had to clean up my mess :

That's all for today, ther's gonna be alot more on saturday , I promise !!!

    cya !

position the fan [in]. it gives the illusion that the propeller is floating.
amazing CAD work. wat program do u use?

the sketches are awesome, i guess you're not too concerned about the weight of the finished case, those MDF panels are pretty heavy :)

good luck with the mod itself, so far looks very promising

I think it looks good both ways, when the wood is painted black I think it would look better "on" as it will look better on the inside too. :)

    update 4

    Hi all !

    @ elbarto241 : I'm using google sketch-up 6 (would like to have 3ds max 9 :waah: )

@ ssR : The weight isn't important, I'm not going to move it around soo much.

    UPDATE 4

Today I finished the bottom panel , I made the ''U'' for the panel where the reservoir gonna sit .

First I draw the line as a guide for the mill.

After that I put a small piece of wood so that I can follow it to get it straight, then I started to mill.

Then I put a mdf board with a white front to see if it fit, perfect  !

Then I milled the ''U'' for the other panel :

    I put the panels on

After that I started to think how the side panel will be fixed to the rest of the case, and I came up with this:

That's all for today, more to come tomorow !

    Just a preview :

    Comments are welcome !

Looking good there, your sketchup- and designing skills are top notch. Also nice work with the mill.

For the beveled (is that the right word) edges, I wouldn't go at it with a jigsaw. If you can get to a tablesaw which you can adjust to angles, I'd definitely use that.

    Keep going!
