yea carbide blades can cut alu all day with no probs. Although it will eventually layer up on the teeth like paint dulling it that way. You can even run carbide router bits rown alu now that was FUN!.. Wow gecko drives your going all out. There was another guy on the forums awhile back he also did this i belive he a mod now over @ cnczone.com Keep it up i wana see video when it's running
man cutting metal with a table saw thing like that (i know its not a table saw but i cant come up with a name) looks scary, it actually cuts smooth and fast? imo it looks like the blades would get caught on the metal and the blade would stop or somethin
Yeah, I figured I would do it right the first time. It really wasn't bad at all. I have cut timber that was harder to get through! BTW - All the pictures are back up. My server got some Slashdot attention for another project I was working on...
