You know that black grill that you used in the psu? Where did you get that from? I cant see very clearly in the pic but it looks like it has round holes? If so im really interested to know where you got it from
Hey mate! no they'r not round more snake eyed shape holes, its security door mesh, i picked a large sheet of it up from the scrap metal yard..... It's quiet expensive to purchace by the mtr.
if you local syd your welcome to swing buy and cut your self some peices.....if not then good luck finding some
can you show more detail how you did the clearn tubing with the rca jacks and making the tubing glow? If you don't mind I would like to do that on my lian li v1000 project. thanks man. looking really nice btw.
Woot! thought i'd try the new spray booth out and do a few touch ups and repaint to some bits! Ok ok the truth..... A few of the parts were way far from perfect..... and altho they looked very shiny and sexy!! the paint was not flat enuf for my liking, and a few of the panels had sink-backs and minor flaws So! yes! an excuse to try the booth Also from the previouse-previouse paint! The bloody "Mirage 3 step" can crap, it had truly and utterly made a mess of things...... it had become a very nasty base coat bleeding thru my new sexy purple paint and changing it to very very nasty dark purple on some panels and light blue on others  So to fix this! all the minor imperfections repaired, fully wet rubbed flat again, resprayed with 3 coats of a silver metalic base ( to give all panels an even coloured base-cote) and then resprayed with 3 more coats of the metalic purple. Theres a lot of paint on this pc..... But again! if i had not had dicked around with that Mirage crap in a can, the last steps could have been avoided. Anyways the end result is a very flat paint job that looks as tuff and thick as powder coating but with more shine and depth. HP-RESII is on the home run! I've also decided to give the original base a going over with the same colour paint as well, i thought it might be nice to have an "interchangable bases" to play with. A few pics of the smaller imperections, a qik fill with some spot putty allow a few days to dry and a wetrun with 800. also you can see how the paint was not super flat, a chop with 1200 to get rid of the "orange peel" and get the paint nice and flat. The new spray booth in action!!!! hehe i was excited This is metalic silver base coat, The aim is to get the extra metalic and shine to bleed thru the purple to give it a bit more razzle dazzle I was very tempted to leave it this colour!!! you can't see it in the piccys but the silver looked absoloutly futuristic!!.................amazing!
Brilliant . There's little worse than someone getting an old beige case and assuming that simply un-beiging it and adding some fancy mods will make it look professional. It's nice to see you've actually made it look a decent, sleek case as well <A88>
love you're booth i need to make one @ home, saves travelign all the way to work to use the booth, but then u cant beat bake ^_^. btw nice finish, its soo deep.
