i dont think PC's can make magazines by themselves just messing, it had best be on bit-tec front page aswell... and get in every modding magazine! best mod ive seen in a while keep moddin
You're a mine of inspiration!!! Very impressive! Just a question: why the optical drive faceplate appears and disappears along your posts??
wtF h4x !?!?!?!? Must be some kinda skill hack you're using. Awesome work. /me votes for your mod on the front page of Bit-Tech.net ! Somehow the follow-up of Orac³ and WMD... inofficially.
well well, if it isnt my old pal from TF. nice work you got there. formerly ati_loyalist if you dont remember. this is quite the project, and i love the color theme for reasons im sure youre familiar with great work, nice to come across your work, very professional, it stands out from the crowd.
Hey i really love the way handled all the lightning details especially the plexi between the ram! How is that being held in place? And how did you let the tube with the powercord for the vga light up the way is does?
ATI!!!! heya mate long time, yer im still moddin this one whats happening mate? can we expect to see you come out of short term retirement Apollo cheers mate, theres a how-to on those defyant style light tubes over @ casemodgods if you want to check it out the ram plex is held in by tight press fit and heres some tid bits for your optical enjoyment All the water gear has arrived now and i can get back to setting up how the rad will fit onto the outer back of the case. I'll be using a Push - Pull system with a 120 pabst on each side of the rad. Also needed to add some custom loom and plugs to power them , i thought rather than try to conseal the power wires i'd make a feature of them instead the Rad! The fan! as you can see im going to use the same RCA type connectors again. The hole Rad and Fan unit will then bolt onto the back of the case and the in/outlets will feed back inside. with the rad sorted, next was to finally finish off the basemod, add and rout all the usb and multimedia wires add in the speakers! some extra power cover the wires and put the perspex base plate on! The mini speakers are only for token sound, theyr not to be for 100wat mega sub boom sound, just like most built in speakers theyr a get by sound for testing and window sounds. Tested with the wifes ipod and thyr not tooo bad! i was happy with the sound i got from them. Next was to wire up the base CCF light, The light will do 2 things, it will make the hue or glow around the base as well as give light back up thru the purple plex inner base plate. Again a RCA type plu is added, some tech flex and heat shrink. a female powered end has been installed to supply power, and inkeep with the plug and play theme. the inverter is attached to the other side Next was to cut the new base plate, I'd actually marked this out a few months ago, so it was just a matter of jigsawing the shape out. Sanding the edges to a 45 degree angle so the blend in with the base and buffing the edges with some cutting compound for a clear shiny smooth finish.
:Applaudes: Hey hey hey, that is just schweet!!! Sorry if my comment is a little obscure but i'm recovering from a hangover/possible still drunk! Seriously tho just B-E-A-Utiful!!!
outstanding mod! but believe it or not, it actually doesn't do much difference if you have 1 or 2 fans on a 120 mm rad. (just like it doesn't do very much difference if you run the fan on the rad on high or low voltage.)
OMG MAN.... that looks schweet... i need to get some RCA plugs!!!!! your case mod seriously eats all others... it keeps getting better and better when will you stop... because when you do i want to go round the world... just to tell you to carry on modding!!!! take care man kickass looking mod edit: ive just realised... your case must be sooo stable... so much of it on the floor, bit like how an f1 car grips the road except yours is far superior to an F1 car technology wise and looks
Again, I must cravl into a teeny weeny hole i the earth, when I called myself a modder, but this is REAL MODDING This looks unbeliavable...
I think the "Evolution" was worth the extra effort, even as " finished" as it was before, i think adding the water and the other mods it intailed was really worth the effort and added something to the mod i felt was always missing HARDCORE OVERKILL ! Testing the remote base eject The new side panel, should look awsome once painted and windowed!
