I can just imagine when installing the system " oh sh** i just dropped a screw" (into the myriad of cooling pipes)

It'll have a removable motherboard tray and drives and maybe psu will be soft-mounted so hopefully dropped screws won't be an issue.. :)

Ha! We just love your mod so much :)

Btw I've got 2 lots of 10GB webspace from my ISP that's completely going to waste. If ya want I can host pics for you for free - PM me.

Or you could use picasa. It has a upload tool and unlimited bandwidth.

Dammit- should've relocated all the pics to bit-tech's hosting. Anyhow, here's some I uploaded there before the photobucket bandwidth was exceeded:

Apologies for ineptitude - should have seen that coming!

I'm speechless! So much Cu and so much work - all to make a PASSIVE COOLER! Totally freaking cool! Now I'm looking forward to see how you'll put the hardware together - and the water too.

    Subbed, that's for sure!

Cheers for the nice comments guys. This hasn't been forgotten about - still going back when I can to continue work on it and all coming together... Update with pics of the aluminium outer frame coming soon; just need to finish countersinking and tapping the 60 or so allen-head bolts to hold the aluminium lap-joints together first. Also have had Hush logos CNCed into the aluminium plates... more on that next update. Was going to take pics yesterday but didn't really get enough time so will have to wait until this weekend.

    Update time!

    Lots of countersinking and tapping.

The motherboard tray will sit further back towards the back wall, but the countersunk screws poking through from the back aluminium frame just happen to be the right distance apart to go through the motherboard tray holes....

one of the 19mm anti-vandal switches (photographed badly!). It's anodised-black aluminium with white light. I'm still undecided as to whether to anodise all the aluminium black or have it mirror-polished aluminium..

[IMG] Needs a bit of filing down to tidy up but getting there. :)

Not fully screwed together and epoxied into place yet so sitting on a box atm. The aluminium frame sits very snugly in the slits for the copper fins.

The copper back wall got warped from bead-blasting. Should bolt to the aluminium easily enough though.
