i saw last weekend a doc. about the cebit and one thing was how nowadays not only perfomance is importend in computer scene also style. and how the look more and more becoms artwork. and now guess which comp the showed....... yes your hypercube Joungne. had a smile all over my face about that. be proud you`ve been in tv!
Hehe, that sounds nice, you didnt perhaps tape it? What channel was it on? maybe I can get in contact withthem to get a copy of the documentary greetz, Joungne
Hi Gert was great to meet up with you at CeBit. Really great to see your case mod close up. Just love it! I will have to put some picks of the LAN Truck at Cebit up in my thread this evening! Ant
I found a project log of the Aquarium PC http://gathering.tweakers.net/forum/list_messages/973421// The craftsmanship just isn't as impressive as yours Joungne. I guess he won on pure novelty...
But nobody ever tought about building a computer in a aquarium. The aquarium himself is also completely self made. Not bought in a shop or laser cutted . People voted on it because the fishes were very attractive. Much more than jounge his casemod and mine and many others at cebit I agree that not all the parts of the casemod are perfect, but the idea is perfect. And "normal" people do not see if something is'nt perfect straight, or it contains some dirty cables. The yust look at a casemod completely different as we do.
hi gert i just want to say that is was great to meet you (and the hypercube )... and i hope we see us again at the cebit next year (maybe on some of the aftershow partys ). greetings Benny
Joungne, Just wanted to say that I think you are a great sport for how well you took the Cebit loss. Hypercube is beautiful, but there's just something funny about a computer with its own fish... You made us bit-techers proud, and the modding community as a whole. Keep up the great work! By the way, Cube was one of my favorite movies of all time...
Well put by a fellow Clevelander (i live in Russel). I aggree 100% with what Da Dego said. I love this mod.
